It's not until next year, but I would probably put The Crew above the rest. That looks a lot more fun to me.
That said, I will be trying DriveClub for sure.
With my money on the line though, The Crew looks like it would be more up my alley.
Just get it on ps3 if you haven't already. It's been on sale a few times since release.
I bought it during a sale, and it was dirt cheap with plus. I can't remember what I paid for it.
Dang, yo!
I wish they would announce the NA ones that early.
If they keep with their current trend, then we won't know until three weeks from today. If not, then the Monday after.
A newer version of internet protocol.
Standard ipv4 you would know as addresses like 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.0, etc.
IPv6 uses hexadecimal instead of decimal to do the same thing. ("0" to "9" and "a" to "f")
The primary reason for its existence is that the ipv4 decimal format would eventually run out of addresses I believe.
Bill Gates DID do a better job. Microsoft became a household name because of him.
Also, it doesn't matter what people are saying about Windows phone and Surface. They can have glorious praise, but it means nothing if no one is buying them.
While I agree that Windows 7 was, arguably, the best version of Windows ever, (my vote is actually for 2000 SP4) Windows 8 still gets mixed opinions, and PC sales will continue to slowly decline as most uses get transfe...
TLOU as well.
It's what Greg said; most of what's great about GTA came along in GTA3. GTA3 is by no means the best GTA game, but the shock and awe hit the hardest in 3.
GTA5 and TLOU are both outstanding games, but TLOU has literary aspirations in its corner. The importance of this cannot be understated. To release a "zombie" game mid 2013 to that much acclaim and fanfare is a massive feat. That genre was already getting tired before this ga...
I assume my disagrees were about me saying to stop reading Orwell.
I love Orwell, and I believe the entire world would benefit from reading his most important (in my opinion, of course) work: his essay on political prose.
I meant Alinsky over Orwell as a pessimism/optimism thing.
Don't complain about some terrible future if you're not willing to do something about it.
I'm pro vita, too. That's where I play it.
BUT, if you will play couch co-op, then you know what to do.
Why don't you stop reading Orwell and start reading Alinsky?
Yesssssssssssssssssssss!!!
That's awesome. Absolutely awesome.
Dooooo it!
I played the hell out of it on vita, but the ps3 version is tempting because of local co-op.
I suppose I'll have to make up my mind pretty quickly.
Fantastic game. It's a great game in general, but if you like beat 'em ups, fighters, or straight action rpg's, then it's definitely an A+ game.
That wasn't my point. My point is that this device isn't made any more specific for gaming than a TV. So why is it on this site? The same could be said about any piece of hardware that is not primarily for gaming.
It says right in the article that this is not Sony's VR device. There's a lot of comments on here that appear to have missed that.
This isn't their VR headset to compete with Oculus Rift... Sony has been making stuff like this for a while now.
This article shouldn't be on the site IMO. It's, essentially a TV/home theatre that mounts on your head instead of a wall/TV stand.
Absolutely.
Of all the next gen games shown this year, they only two that stood out and said "day one" to me were Second Son and Resogun. I have to wait a few months for one, but the other one is free. You win some; you lose some.
I cannot wait to get my hands on this game.
Well put.
I believe that the steam box idea will play well because it can be both entry level and high end.
SteamOS is, truly, the nerd fantasy becoming that much closer to reality. Performance will increase by not having to run Windows. Also, there are Linux equivalents to pretty much any Windows app out there, and I believe that both Valve and Linux software devs will push hard to let people know that.
I would love to get my hands on that c...
2 was good, but 1 and 4 were the best. Those two received the highest critical praise, and I believe it was earned. I'm hoping those guys are on their game again for Titanfall. All the previews sound like they are.
In terms of sales...
Ian MacKaye said it best: Never mind what's been selling. It's what you're buying.
My bad, I missed where he said Molyneux. Thought we were talking about cliffyb still.
I didn't catch the pun at fIrst, either.
Great games though. I was always pretty partial to Myth (those gibs, man!) and the old Settlers and Dungeon Keeper (if those are considered good games) myself.
What genre? I'm confused.
I would have placed money on any wrongdoing being done by simplygames.
Sony wouldn't do that. (Nor would Microsoft or any other large public company)
While I can't point out a specific model, I would try to go for a 1080p with 120hz refresh. For a 40" size, you may have to buy a smart one or spend just as much as one. 60hz will still be fine though because console games aren't going to go above 60fps. If you have a good gaming desktop, and plan on using the TV for it, I would probably get the extra refresh rate though as a good PC can max out 1080p/60fps no problem.
1080p and with high refresh is the best you ...
