Swings both ways though.
They've made it so I can't sell my PS3 :(
Gotta get that mainstream fix, yo!
I adore Knack.
Here in Canada, gambling is all handled under a crown corporation. Pull tabs, scratch tickets, lotto, etc.
Lotto ticket booths here also do sports betting. It's called "pro-line." Pro-line took bets on the oscars last year.
True story. Oscars betting endorsed by the Canadian government.
Fail. GT 1-5 are the five top selling first party Sony games. Uncharted, God of War, et all can't touch GT.
I know what you mean. I dig the simplicity of controls as well.
It's the opposite of Killzone. One stick to move, one stick to aim, four touchpad strokes, and fifteen different input buttons.
If you haven't played them, then I would also recommend Sound Shapes and flower. Both are great experiences. Flower can easily be played by children, and it's a very soothing and pretty experience. If you've bought it before, then it may be worth trying again, esp...
Good ol ESEA. Hahaha
On indies: most people will tell you that Sound Shapes and flower are worth the price of admission. (If you haven't played them already)
My own hypothesis of how next gen would be for ME was even wrong. How in the heck is someone else supposed to figure it out for me?
Killzone was supposed to be the flagship game for my launch. Knack was supposed to be a co-op game with the missus. Resogun was supposed to be my old faithful like Super Stardust.
Knack, so far, has been the gem of them all. It's not friendly to the girlfriend, but boy, is it up my alley.
Your mileage may var...
People be sheep to them review scores!
I only read New York Times bestsellers. I only listen to music recommended by pitchfork. I only watch movies with good imdb ratings.
Oh, wait; no, I don't.
That would make me a fake, a poseur, a hipster, or a waste of a brain.
Get Tearaway while you're there!
The thread on neogaf.... wow.
Those comparison pictures with the multiplatform games... that's a bit rough.
Those aren't even bad temperatures.
If you want these systems to run games at lower temperatures than those, then you would have to expect the games themselves to start suffering.
I've only heard the bluray drive in my ps4, and even that is negated when there's sound coming from my entertainment center.
I will never understand the debate about how loud a console is. Maybe a lot of people play video games without sound or something?
I can understand power draw and temperature, but why the debate about hardware noise?
Can someone clue me in?
The glory days for these sites are winding down. They won't be able to cash in as heavily after Friday, and after next Friday, the hits should see even more decline.
Why fight about consoles when we'll (almost) all be able to play them?
And just like that, Kleptic chimes in and I rescind my previous comment.
Digital complexity!
Back to my high end analog dream. Lol
I agree. This is smart. Google keeps going forward in the field of education. Definitely the right people to collaborate with.
The primary reason for my adoration of Google Inc. is their ever deepening push for education.
Education is the single most powerful tool out there to make the world a better place.
I'm with strummer.
Also, Knack is a throwback to ps1 platformers, so I have no idea why those types of games would be brought up as missing.
Launch lineups are just that. Gran Turismo is easily the top selling exclusive to Sony consoles. Am I to presume that they won't make one of those as well for ps4 because it wasn't there at launch?
If I follow the logic on display here, then I assume it won't happen.
Fail.
...
Man, flac support would be killer.
It would probably eliminate my desire for a tube based power amp to go with the record player in the living room.
I assume by "big fat one" you were referring to a nice fart where everyone gets a lungful.
From what I gather by reading gaf:
The reason it doesn't move from 0% for a while is because it downloads game updates before installation. After that it sounds like the games are playable at 3-5%.
You can probably get into your games quicker if you turn off your internet, let the game install, and then reconnect it so the patch downloads after the fact.
I'm not an Xbox owner, so I have no idea what I'm talking about. Hopefully it...
