I think I have the boxes for these three games back at my mom's house. Tactics was an especially nice box because it had everything included for a table top fallout game in there.
I beat Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics: BoS, and (the incredibly bad ps2/Xbox game) Fallout: BoS, but Fallout 3 did nothing but turn me away :(
They're both awesome games. I prefer 2 to 1, especially because the first main mission is timed in 1.
They haven't aged the best, and the combat is strictly turn-based, but they are phenomenal games.
I'm on the other side. I can't stand Fallout 3. I gave it a serious shot, but it just didn't catch my interest. Bethesda games all do that to me.
Tactics gets remarkably hard, but it does have its moments. Driving over an enemy, parking on them and demolishing them while they're stuck under the vehicle is hilarious.
To anyone new to Fallout 1 & 2: always keep a piece of jerky on you. Dogmeat is a boss of a teammate.
I'd play that game. It might scare some people and be controversial, but the story would probably be better than almost all modern shooters.
Battlefield 3 comes to mind. I tried playing through that campaign. What a joke. Terrorists, Iran, nuclear threat... the game was almost a lesson in fear mongering. It's like the game tried to give you some idea that the west is danger, that the situation is dire, and that through these means, the game not only tries to take away...
Mercenary had possibly the best story because it wasn't as black and white. The ISA ended up being the greater of two evils in that game because of its leader.
At least that was my take on it.
There have been many alternatives throughout the years.
Within the shooter genre you can resort to modern fiction, alternate history, written history, science fiction, and anything else that a writer chooses to explore.
Resistance, Half-Life, Halo, Doom, Left 4 Dead, etc.
Maybe even a (slightly) cerebral experience like Spec Ops: The Line.
Nothing but adoration for the ps3 version of Diablo 3.
However, I will not purchase this for ps4 unless I can get it heavily discounted, (extremely unlikely) or they integrate battle net into the console version. (also unlikely)
A ps4 version of this with single player/open multiplayer and also closed battle.net multiplayer support (a la D2) would be the perfect Diablo 3 experience.
Alas, these are just hopes.
They're trying new things, at least.
EA and Activision don't know how to do that anymore.
I found myself preferring the 360 controller to the Xbox One's. Strange.
The matte plastic and that rough divide line along the bottom of the controller felt shoddy to me.
It'd be hard to choose, but the contest is between 360 and ps4 for my favourite console pad of all time.
I will be upset if TLOU doesn't win GOTY.
I am, however, mostly interested for the next gen reveals. This is an annualized video game show hot on the heels of the most successful generation jump ever. Everybody and their mom know about Xbox and ps4 this holiday season. I would expect huge announcements from this, exclusive or multi platform. (Prediction: third party multiple platform games will be the brightest stars of the event)
This event should be a b...
I assume you're referring to the band.
These songs are available in N.A.
Maybe, it's just not a good UI then.
A good UI should be intuitive right off the bat. Double so if the UI is meant to be the center of an entertainment unit for a family.
See: iOS. Apple made it so your grandma can figure it out.
Aside: I've only had limited experience talking to the new Kinect. It works. It understood me, and I didn't have to repeat myself. That's great, BUT that delay is not pleasant. Some may say "what delay?&q...
It even says "Microsoft" on the PS3 version. (Because they published ME1)
That's jumping the gun a bit.
He didn't even mention exclusivity.
I saw his post as an answer to the headline "Could Gears of War Release on the PS4?" and nothing more.
They probably won't raise their estimate because of yield.
My guess is that there will only be 5-6 million out there by March. They'd probably sell more if they could make more.
Facebook users posting articles from the onion... I'm sure we've all seen that before. Fail
X86 only, please!
I don't think that's a sale. First party Vita games are $3 cheaper digitally.
Killzone: Mercenary and Soul Sacrifice are like that, too
Calling a likeness racism has made you the racist, Hitman0769.
"WILL I AM gets PS4 blanket" has no inherent racism.
If I said "Steve Ballmer gets a blanket, too!" and there was a heavy set, balding, loud mouthed, middle aged white guy in the photo, then would that be racist, too?
No. It's just likeness.
Hahaha love it
