No problem. It even works with remote pairing for mobile devices as it's the same as the ps3 app. You can double tap the ps button to swap between it and games which would probably be useful to some. It also maintains some ability to run in the background if you wanted to hear audio only. I haven't tried it with a game, but it likes to keep playing while in system menus.
I prefer the 360 to x1 controller, save the dpad.
As for the ds4, that thing is great. The only bad thing I'll say is that it chews through its battery pretty fast. Other than that, the build quality feels pretty solid, it has a nice heft and size to it, and I personally find the comfort very nice.
I would put both the 360 controller and the ds4 above the x1 controller. I can't definitively say which of the two is the best though. I like them both.
That's the first time I've seen God of War mentioned specifically as the reason to own a PlayStation console!
OT: Isn't it crazy how many devs answered Vita, comparatively?
The unfinished game point in there currently rings the loudest for me.
If Battlefield 4 was any product other than software, then I would have returned it as a faulty product under warranty. Absolutely unacceptable.
This plus Toro's Friend Network was probably my biggest foray into "social gaming."
Toro's is great for adding people to your psn friends list. They're all vita owners, so they're pretty hardcore players to boot.
I think that's everything. Patch all of that up and then I only need GTA V for ps4 for when the girlfriend likes pretending to be a cab driver.
Also, I'm sure there are people who still don't know out there, but putting youtube.com/tv into the browser gives you the standard web app version of YouTube which looks just like the ps3 app. A native app is still very important to me though as I use YouTube daily.
It can be pretty annoying. The only work around is to increase the time before the controller turns itself off. Then it's an issue of battery life.

I never truly expected a bioshock game on vita.
And yeah, by the time a game that's presently in early development comes out, the ps4 should have a larger install base than vita.
It's a shame that killzone didn't move vita units. I'll probably catch heat in saying this, but I do believe mercenary was a better game than shadow fall.
I am also a very happy vita owner.
There's a reason that apps like punkbuster are older than the Xbox 360.
Can't you just make a JP PSN account to use for Vita? Then you could just buy the Japanese versions of games.

The only green light that this still unfinished game deserves is to go in the toilet.

Edit: I bought this game last week. It crashed six times and deleted my save in one week. That's unacceptable.

All of these headsets fall under a warranty for PlayStation devices. Unfortunately, the warranty for things tagged PlayStation is not as good as the warranty given to consumer headphones from Sony.
Strangely, there's a big difference.
As to the app, I concur, it was mostly a waste of time on the ps3. The headset doesn't need the app for the sound profiles anyway. It was only needed to change them. The profiles will work regardless of what and where the phones ...

I understand your frustration, as my pulse elite currently gathers dust.
But,
A common misconception: Pulse is not Bluetooth, hence the USB dongle and no possibility of wireless Vita support.
Even some retailers erroneously list it as Bluetooth.
If you didn't know, youtube.com/tv in the ps4 browser is the same as the ps3 app. Videos remain running in the background, too.
But a dedicated app would be even better.
