Dat extinction mode.
More than any other mode, extinction looks last gen as *bleep.*
I started playing it with a buddy on my ps4, and it felt the opposite of next gen.
Sarcasm sucks. It often doesn't translate well on the internet, and in person, it often rubs off as condescending.
@septic
I know what you mean about the size! I saw the size comparison pics and everything, but I still thought the ps4 looked bigger than I expected it.
Wholeheartedly agree.
To anyone who didn't know:
Play any game that has "Black Isle Studios" on it somewhere. You will not be upset.
Truly great games. All of them.
Maybe try setting up your address and such in Canada. The prices are are the same as it's still the NA PSN, although you may not get the same on exchange, BUT the PSN doesn't charge tax to Canadian users.
Might be worth checking in to
I didn't own the first one, but I did play it a few times at a friend's house. I thought it was great! (Minus the delay with his setup because his sound was all digital.)
The 2014 edition looks even better. Session mode looks genius! Pick a tempo, key, scale and instruments and just let it rip!
I'll get the 2014 version eventually, but I do wish it were on ps4, as I'm trying to reduce the reasons for using my ps3.
I haven't heard of any unofficial fixes for an issue like this.
Maybe try tweeting @xboxsupport ?
I have every Killzone except the psp one, and I've come to a conclusion.
Most of the games are actually good games, but the series itself is the problem. "Killzone," to me, is synonymous with "quality" and "mediocrity." Maybe, I am only one.
Trying to make the fifth and sixth iterations of the game as system sellers for Vita and ps4 is a bit contrived.
I would rather these devs work on something new for their...
Hit or miss for me.
Their audio products are bad, for example. From sound bars all the way up to that $600 dock with tubes in it, they don't do audio well. The big brands in the U.S., Japan and Germany still beat South Korea for audio reproduction.
They need to stop bogging new phones down with pointless features. My Galaxy S3 is full of features that suck, and they added even more for newer phones. The phone hardware is outstanding, but the in-house soft...
Never played the series before, but I do plan on getting this one!
I love action RPG's. I love them to the point that I almost have the platinum in Dungeon Hunter Alliance on Vita, and that game is terrible. (I can't get the platinum because the game bugs out every time I try to get one of the multiplayer trophies.)
So yeah, I'll probably play the poop out of this.
Man, those prices are brutal!
It seems like Canada is one of the few countries that get a good deal with digital games. The prices here are the same as the U.S. for both digital and physical, but purchasing power is stronger, so they're technically cheaper here.
Also, PSN doesn't charge tax, which is 13% in my province.
New first party Vita games are $3 cheaper, too.
Yep.
Optical or hard disk. Both should have the highest failure rate of any guts that next gen consoles have.
Mechanical parts should fail before solid state parts.
As stated in the article, it was a time resource issue.
Neither console launched with their full feature set implemented.
The official Sony Pulse headset is not Bluetooth, and that's why it needs native support in the firmware/OS.
This update plus a YouTube app and the dualshock charging station and my setup will be complete!
Agree. Into the Nexus would have been a good ps4 game, especially at the lower price point.
I hope Sanzaru make another Sly game, too. Thieves in Time was a good deal being cross buy and lower in price.
Definitely.
Twitch archiving is going to turn "Live from PlayStation" into a pretty popular media outlet on the console I think.
Well said bub from me.
You, clearly, have both consoles. You gave your own opinion of the two, and you did it without trolling or "fanboy" remarks.
If you had an editor, then this post would have been better than a lot of websites out there.
I respect your honest opinion.
I wouldn't count Canada. Most of the media features aren't available here.
The ones that remain are mostly on PS4, where they are not behind a "paywall."
Both methods are great.
If you don't power on the Pulse Elite, then you don't have to charge it.
If you turn it on, then you get the rumble feature, but you don't get the virtual surround until it's officially supported, and you do have to charge it.
Scores do not prove *bleep*
Play the games for yourself. I bought Knack after all the reviews were posted, and it's my favourite ps4 game so far. Everyone needs to give up this B.S. notion of general consensus in favour of personal experience. Instead of reading/watching/listening to a review, take that time to watch gameplay videos on YouTube and see if the game is for you. If there's a demo, then that's even better.
This article does not have my...
I wouldn't buy it.
You could get a v-moda m80 set and some money left towards a good dac/amp for that price.
Obviously, I haven't seen these headphones, but I would put money down in saying that they won't touch v-moda in durability.
Also, I just checked the specs on another website... these headphones are nothing to write home about specs wise. There are sennheiser sets at your local bestbuy which will walk all over these in soun...
