I think it's not dead. Mainly because what marks it isn't budget PC gaming but crossgen gaming. 1 PC can take you through 2 or 3 generations of consoles. That's what set it apart.
For those of us who already have budget PCs or powerful ones please explain to me how it was the worst year? Just as bad as last year in terms of GPU pricing.
In terms of games ...if it was the worst year then by association you're saying it was also the worst ye...
Easy to do. With 5his much source material they could recreate some aspects of these wars in such great detail...but focus on the cinematic experience along with great stroytelling.
But you can't forgo a great campaign...that's the problem nowadays.
@shiken @justhefax
Lol
Yes I'm aware. Why purchase it in the first place for one game. And to top it off he then turns and rips someone else off.
Well it does have some mgs flair but it's a different game so I'm glad he's not a one trick pony.
I agree it's not the super stealth action mgs game but it's its own thing
Love how you got all these doom and gloom articles about Sony...even though they still have the best exclusives and sell the most.....it's amazing how just a couple of clicks of research gives you enough facts to be able to see how foolish something like this article is.
Showed this to my spouse and she said she looks like shrek maybe Fiona ogre
Too late. Gave a long response though. It was pretty lame excuses and he contradicts himself throughout a bit.
Complains they titles are lackluster. But says he loves the games....yeah that doesnt make sense. He chalks it up to the $70 tag but you dont have to buy them at that price...so the price makes them lakcluster according to this guy because theyre not long enough...so he'd prefer longer dragged out games simply because.
Complains about dualshock not bei...
That is one dumb move on your part. I hope there arent any games youre interested in this year cause you may have a hard time being able to play them considering ps5's are still hard to come by and if the covid shit continues I expect more production delays.
On a side note does the dual sense actually have the haptic function on PC?
Uncertainty:
Next gen has always distanced itself from previous generations. Microsoft hasnt done so this gen and I would say that is due to their inability to innovate. By making a leap that comes with growing pains they will be able to move further into the future potential with technology. Sometimes leaving the old behind is necessary.
You complain about not being able to use dualshock for ps5 games but you also clearly stated they are lackluster...and...
Okay sure.
Im a gamer first and I play games naturally and usually 1 at a time. Obviously because if you play multiple you may lose interest in another you're playing and have a hard time getting back into it.
Quality of Life:
Im a gamer. I play games. I dont replay older games either. So...that said. My games are clearly and easily accessible from the initial UI. Everything else is extra and irrelevant to me as I get consoles to play games. ...
I'd be fine with just joining a random online whose also looking.
The game would need good checkpoints and that would be it.
Best visuals was won by Forza.... Ratchet gets no mention anywhere.
Game of the year gets taken yet again by a very inaccessible game. Cant find anyone intersted in playing that game with me and so I cant actually play it. Which is a shame as id like to play it. Is there any matching players across the network kind of thing?
Yeah they should. Honestly think that bluepoint has the skill to do a souls like game IP that really competes with from software.
Yeah and I'm just imagining what the dual sense will do to this game. Hopefully it has good integration. Nothing like the feeling of getting bitten by azombie coursing thru your fingers.
@akurtz
Oh you bet. Friend of mine just got it physical. I'll be borrowing when he's done.
Not the case for me. Every game I've played on the PS4 has utilized it in some way. About to try out metro Exodus with haptic integration...should be really fun
I was never a huge fan of hideo Kojima. But I gotta say there is absolutely no game like death stranding. Enjoyed being a package delivery guy that also carries cool ass weapons and grenades.
Whatever he does next I sure as hell will try out.
So you were into returnal...but not demons souls....thats interesting.
I dont disagree with you about being out in force. But like most people...cant say it has anything to do with xbox leadership but instead its all about how much money they decided to spend in order to buy IP.
Im more curious to see if the new IP under microsoft does well. Something like avowed and another fable/perfect dark. Cuz they horribly mismanaged fable before and compeltely disr...
That dual sense gets me pumped for shooters and any other big title. Its a shame xbox doesnt have that. Imagine the dual sense features on a game like avowed or the next elder scrolls...heck even doom...oh doom...that would be magic with the dual sense.
Good on you. I myself pruchase a laptop for gaming purposes. I have the ps5/laptop setup. I make sure to play 1st person shooters...as much as possibe...on the laptop. On the ps5 I play exclusives and everything else. Oh also play RTS games on laptop.
