The first reason is that there are classic games that younger gamers deserve a chance to experience, whether that's older versions of contemporary games like Elder Scrolls, or games from a time when a developer like Bioware didn't suck.
The second reason is that gamers who'd played older games may want to have a collection of their favorites from when they were younger.

I never realized that. I had always just assumed it was MS owned... learn something new every day (because I looked it up before posting, unlike at least 12 people here)!
Some of the others posted about Crytek's current position and I have to agree that if MS tossed them some cash that Ryse 2 could definitely happen. The first one seemed to have a decent foundation to expand upon and would fill a much needed genre in MS library too.

"They" is not MS. "They" is Andrew from Xbox Enthusiast. You didn't even need to read the article to see that, so why comment at all if you don't care about the subject and choose to remain ignorant to it? MS has actually been talking about how games are their priority again, that it won't just be a switch that gets turned on (they take years to develop), and even admit that to get to where they want to be it will take years (if not a decade).

I applaud your efforts, but most of these people around here who post ignorant statements like they're gospel are already "challenged" enough. It's not the truth. There's no guarantee that MS will keep focus on HW and services instead of games. Matter of fact, the things MS has been doing lately already indicate a change in focus; Things like putting the enhanced achievement system on hold, Playground working on a new game, and Perfect Dark secretly having been worked on alongside Sea of Thieves (and likely to release within 12 months). Phil wants more single player IP, a stronger and more diverse...
Pro = optimized at 1080p
1X = 1440p without getting the most from the hardware
