It's not that I love MS... It's that I like Sony less.

Soon as I heard UK I thought of PGR, but I really liked Trafalgar Square as well. Hell, PGR was just awesome in general.

Bethesda is likely to be working on a new engine, not lazy. Since they usually debut a new Elder Scrolls on a new engine, I'm assuming that's why we're not getting 6 right now. I'm curious to see what they've got cooking for E3 nonetheless.

I never said it was. Meanwhile, Mass Effect 2 made some bad decisions over 1, 3 was worse than 2, and Dragon Age has been in steady decline since the first as well. All of them developed the main studio in charge of Anthem.

ME:A was the worst of the four though with (amongst other things) horrible character customization, below average animations, and gameplay changes which also had negative consequences to the pacing and style of the combat.

This game sounds amazing! The article is extremely well done too, and worth following the link to read if you want to know a lot more. Nevertheless, here's a few of the basic ideas of the game:

- Project director Val Daniels said that The Witcher 3 and Metro: Last Light don’t have much in common. He also said, “However, I might say we could use character development techniques from those games because our game’s story is really a personal story. So, character buildin...

Yes, but how bad will it still be when it launches? I want a good, if not great, Bioware game and not what I've been playing since the middle of last generation.

I'm not concerned with their marketing, just that Gearbox makes us one badass Borderlands to play!

First off, it's Gamingbolt. Second, the article is obviously designed to incite arguments on the forums judging by the first sentence alone. Third, Ybarra gave God of War the respect that it deserves. Fourth, MS needs to put gamers first.

I think that about sums things up for everyone here who wants to stay on topic.

"No need to downplay"

Are you talking to yourself? Your OP is the one "downplaying", and it was you who "needed" to come in here just to ignore the article in order to do it. Why don't you explain to us how the PC has the definitive console version of Hellblade?

Actually I do. Better, more capable HW. It always happens in the future, and after the PS5 is the Xbox2, then the 5 Pro and the 2X, and so on and so forth.

For now... 1X is the pinnacle of fidelity in console gaming, can't you just let it be?

- They went quiet after showing off the online tech in order to work on the campaign. I'm surprised you don't know that.
- The delays were because CD3 was actually pioneering the engine used for Cloud compute, not just building the game, so most of the development time and delay is in the Cloudgine engine. It was after the announcement that Cloudgine was complete that Epic bought the company and the campaign was started.
- The campaign, if it's like the first t...

Agreed. When I read between the lines, I see that what Ubi is actually saying is that they're working on putting battle royal into every future shooter THEY make because it's popular and they want to cash in.

120Hz refresh rate? Could an AR/VR announcement be inbound for E3?

Sounds like the 1X will have room to grow into a budget machine as the "2X" comes along, seeing as it's potential is not going to be realized for a few years. Which is what MS intended from the outset of the project. Makes me wonder though; If MS is now developing games with the 1X as lead platform, as opposed to making XB1 games with 1X patches, how good are they going to look? The 1X is already noticeably better than the Pro in comparisons of multiplatform games yet it'...

It's Gamingbolt... I'll save you guys the clicks.

Philipp Döschl of FDG Entertainment, the folks behind Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, feels similarly- there hasn’t been enough time to adapt to the new spec, and a lot of smaller developers won’t be able to keep up with the resources needed to fully utilize higher end machines. Plus, he points out, the install base consideration still applies.

“I doubt it’ll have a big impact as we all ne...

Why don't you show us one of those next gen games you seem to know so much about? I understand visuals a lot better than assumptions. Thanks.
