The Xbox One battery charger at the bottom of the page looks like a stapler as well. Matter of fact, most of Nyko's stuff looks like crap this gen.
That's what I thought. Good luck, Morpheus.
That's absurd. Why don't you game on PC if you care about resolution?
Swapping the PS4 HDD doesn't constitute an additional purchase then? You lose the initial 500GB when you swap, plus, an external 2.5" HDD is USB powered, a 3.5" HDD is not but will cost less. I can buy a cheaper external drive by going 3.5" and have up to 48TB of HDD space total if I want. PS4 is limited to a 2.5" HDD with 2TB max for games.
And you are trol...
How do you like your crow served? In a humble pie perhaps? Do me a favor and spend your bubble apologizing in the FM6 threads when you're proven wrong.
Yes, keep picking on the system because it is on DX11 "crutches". Make fun of a rushed launch game that still hit 1080/60 and praise a game that delayed for a year and still only managed to hit 1080/30. After DX12 engines are shown, like Deus Ex as a multiplat example, then compare them. I'm not suggesting the XB1 will ever be on par with PS4, but it might end up closer than you think. On second thought, with the way you think, it'll certainly be closer.
If GT7 shows at E3, It'll likely be all smoke and mirrors anyways, either running on a PC or CGI like Uncharted 4's gameplay demo or reveal trailer. Or it could end up like The Order, Witcher, or Watchdogs reveals vs. final build. Tbh, it doesn't matter, Forza 6 will hold it's own no matter what Sony shows of GT7.
To quote Doug Quaid from Total Recall,"Two weeks." We'll see at E3.
We're talking about BGM coming with Win10, which is an OS update, not a peripheral.
If you want to be a troll, consider this: You're trashing the ability to plug in up to 16TB per usb versus having to open up your system and get 2TB max. Plus, you can use a standard PC HDD and save some money if you don't mind an external power supply.
I didn't say it, Sony did. Let's see what holiday looks like afer E3. MS is doing everything right to gain momentum. Sony's is slowing down. Next year's games don't impact this year's sales.
@foxtrot
Titanfall is exclusive. Titanfall 2 is not. Dead Rising 3 is exclusive. Dead Rising 2 was not. Has it ever been said that Tomb Raider is coming to PS4? It could be Win10 only but XB1 first. It is speculation at this point.
You beat me to it, lol.
@utalkintome
The ENGINE will see a 7% boost in performance, not the framerate. Big difference. You "no sauce" guys are like ants at a picnic today.
Dante, they are two separate patches. SMS clarified today that a DX12 patch will add 7% to XB1. In post #54 of the Pcars forum which started the 30-40% debacle, Ian mentions the performance gains the current patch will give to both consoles. Then he hypothesizes that if Sony can emulate the features of DX12 they could benefit from an upcoming DX12 patch as well. Elsewhere in that forum, tbh, according to Ian the DX12 patch is only at a stage where a budget has been set aside for IF they ha...
@mrsec
It's okay, really, but you are missing some fundamentals. The memory in XB1 is a combination of both DDR3 and eSRAM, not one or the other as you keep arguing. The DMEs can move 26GB/sec of data to/from anywhere at no cost to CPU, GPU, or memory so eSRAM storage is not in question either. The XB1 has 30GB/sec bus whis 33% faster than both PS4 busses combined. The CPU has direct access to eSRAM as well for full coherency.
Again, I could find fault w...
Lol @ the disagrees. A new DX12 article has posted in which the guys behind the Unity engine specifically state that you have to design an engine for DX12 to get all the benefits and that patching an old one doesn't help as much. He's not the first in the industry to have made such comments, hence my previous post.
Edit @why o why
Thanks for the compliments. I like to try to keep a grasp on reality by erring on the side of caution and listing unknowns...
You do realize the article was updated before my first post. How you can get agrees when your quote doesn't exist any more is beyond me. The only difference is the 3.5mm jack.
Sony doesn't seem to concerned for gamers with their "sparse" lineup right now either. Wait about 2 weeks and revisit this point of view. Both MS and Sony will show new stuff.
PCars is getting 7% with a patch. Native DX12 will get more. IF they double the performance of a patch that'll be great, but how big COULD the gains be? E3 should resolve some of this speculation. I can't wait!
The demo was running on a PC as well. Maybe this demo will be on a PS4?
You guys defending Morpheus are worse than "secret sauce" XB1 defenders. The likelyhood it will fail, just on the basis that it is an add-on, is high. Tell me how many successful add-ons there have ever been. I'll tell you SOME of the failures:

Zapper
Power Pad
Power Glove
Sega CD/32x
Play Station
Ram Expansion Pak

Game streaming is as different from cloud processing as playing games online.
MS has built the XB1 architecture around this function. Each of the 4 multipurpose DME's can do data movement at 26Gb/sec to/from any 2 locations at no cost to CPU, GPU, or memory bandwidth. My understanding is that server systems use these types of accelerators to communicate between nodes within the server bank. MS will show Crackdown at E3, so they will talk more about the cloud's useful...
