Take your PS blinders off for a minute and you'll see there's value value in BC for new XB1 owners and for 360 owners. It let's new owners play Xbox franchises they missed and parents of 360 owners don't have to buy all new games if they can keep their 360 games. Both options lead to new system sales.
Just because PS4 can't run BC doesn't mean it's not a good idea.
The fidelity gap continues to narrow as DX12 gets introduced. (Go figure, since the system was designed around it.) When native DX12 engines are out many people here are going to cry that XB1 is doing even more things that aren't possible. If this idea seems too far fetched to believe based on data sheets or if you still think XB1 is just off the shelf parts, then explain how BC works or how it runs hevc when the others can't!
Lol. Love that any pro Xbox talk still gets labelled as trolling, even though the point of the thread is for a comparison. To me U4 looked like a PS3 game when shown at E3. Show E3 footage side by side, not some bs tech demo.
And yes, DX12 will improve XB1. Hate all you want, but it will make some difference. MS never said no improvement, Mystic, and XB1 looks damned good even without it.
The fact is that Uncharted 4 gets embarassed when you compare E3 footage of each, so you have to show Uncharted 4 running tech demos just to compete with Tomb Raider in game footage. It's sad, actually. Just wait until DX12 games are out...
I think it would be best for everyone if you lived up to your name and were neither seen nor heard.
Swappable D-Pad and analog sticks, 4 extra buttons, trigger locks, remappable buttons, adjustable dead zones and analog curves, and stores 2 presets in the controller selectable at the flick of a switch. Try modding a controller or buying one with all those features, if you even can, and see how much it costs. I'm not buying one, but you people calling it expensive clearly don't see its value.
A game that looks like it belongs on PS3 that also glitched during the live demo? Yeah, I'd call that a showstopper alright!
You're talking about how Uncharted 4 still looks like a PS3 game, and how Gears 4 already looks way better than 3 but is still 18 months away, right? I think that Naughty Dog had a visual accident all over Sony's floor... not to mention the glitches, lol.
They used the same exact words for both to describe those reveal trailers. If it was ps4 gameplay, they would have said that instead. Or played it. It will look very similar to that but this stinks of the Killzone reveal for PS3.
BTW, those words are indicative of the fact that it is a target render. They're what you might call a clue, and if they can cast even the smallest amount of doubt on things, it's still debateable. Prove me wrong!

I remember the same words being shown for the CGi Uncharted trailer. If we're even seeing real gameplay, it's on a pc at best. Keep your expectations in check, people. The trailer never said PS4 gameplay...
That said, I am really impressed by the story and gameplay concepts in Horizon whenever it finally releases.

The grass is "greener" on XB1!
OR will work as VR on XB1 too, thanks to the cloud. Even at 120ms delay to process in the cloud, MS just showed new adaptive tech reducing that latency to just 13ms. Look it up.
