•Market saturation. When a product gets into the hands of most of the people who want one, sales slow like the Wii did. It will happen to PS4 too... and XB1... and every other device ever made. Ever.
•Besides fanboys, most gamers want both consoles and bought the PS4 first because of MS's early mistakes. They will buy an XB1 as well.
•Percieved value in MS is changing for the better in nearly every way; games, graphics, OS, features. This all sells systems faster.

To be fair, taking the drive out would be somewhat emasculating.
Money pit.
A bridge simulator without trolls? What were they thinking?
What made all the people kill each other before video games were around?
I'll tell you why violence is on the rise... people are getting tired of our freedoms being whittled away by all the ignorants complaining/rioting about stuff they don't like until it gets outlawed.
Dishonored stole most of its gameplay from Thief. I don't like Dishonored any more than Bioshock, which is also overrated to me, and another game that was so boring I didn't finish it. Why is it nutty that my tastes differ from yours anyways?
To add fuel to the fire:
I also hate the Metal Gear series, every JRPG ever, any fighting game, and all the hack n' slash games I've ever played (except Too Human). If you like it though, you play it! That's w...
Dishonored was generic enough that I couldn't even finish it. Thief 3 was better in every way but I just hope Eidos doesn't screw up the reboot.
@Christopher
Sorry, dude. Uncharted doesn't look that impressive. Even GTA V looks better and it's a port of last gen. TR and QB are both beyond U4 visually.
Pretty sure it's DX11.
Why are people forgetting that MS built the internet infrastructure AND the consoles internals to be able to what Crackdown is doing with cloud compute? The move engines alone can facilitate data transfer between the console and the cloud "for free" because the extra 200gb/sec bandwidth (simultaneous 25gb read and write per engine) they provide is separate from both memory pools in XB1. For reference, the move engines are not factored into the 1.3tf performance spec.
@Gamer Muzz
It's plauable to assume that people who never played on Xbox before would appreciate all the great games that were made in the past. Kids getting started in gaming today could play a whole series they enjoy instead of just the new stuff. Gamers who just never gamed on Xbox could play all the exclusives they've missed or relive past experiences on great 3rd party. Even 360 owners can benefit by selling their system while keeping their games and save data, s...
I want a true Shadowrun RPG, like the Genesis version was. I imagine it as if elements of GTA, Elder Scrolls, and Deus Ex were all squished together. Dreams, only dreams...
Zzzzzzzzzzzz.
Also agreed, and since it comes with all the 360 games too you can play whichever one you like!
Off topic:
I felt compelled to attack your avatars weak spot for massive damage... but its just too damned cute, lol!
The fact that no one has posted any credible sources to prove that there is such a thing as 2nd party means that there's likely no valid argument to be made. Show me when MS, Sony, or Nintendo ever used the term 2nd party to describe their IP. These pro 2nd party arguments have no facts in them.
I also challenge anyone to go to Wiki and change the definition there too. I guarantee that you can't get it done permanently, if at all, because without proper sources to pr...
Everything you can imagine. Single player should always be playable offline. How bad do you think CD3 would get reemed if its SP was always hooked up online... and it could be cloud enhanced if it were! This is just a DRM thing which is sad, but doesn't EA remember the SimCity debacle?
Edit @ Lennbox
Why are you talking about multiplayer only games when online is a prerequisite for... playing online multiplayer?
It's a set up for some potentially major disappointment if fans don't agree though.
Need for(connection) Speed.
Man this is so stupid, but here: Video Game Developer. Look it up, it's not hard.
It amazes me how ignorant people can be, given that they'd rather be content living in a world of lies than grow a few brain cells by doing a little research on their own. The disagrees just show how stubborn you people really are. It's equal parts sad and funny because it's not even up for debate - it is FACT that 2nd party doesn't exist.
If you don't ...
That's why XB1 is catching up graphically. Features like async. compute were in PS4 day one, while it was only enabled recently on XB1. DX12 is available to devs now too, but no game is using a native DX12 designed engine yet. Matter of fact, Fable Legends is the only game right now that even uses it at all and it was patched.
I wonder how Oxide's engine will look on XB1?
