Like a flock of sheep...
Flex is not trolling. Who was competing with Sony at TGS? Practically nobody! He didn't say anything bad about the show or the games. You guys need to give it a rest and quit being hypocrites since most of you come into Xbox threads and make comments like this all the time too.
Exactly. I face palmed when he said assists were on. He's comparing two sims with the sim physics off... wtf sense does that make?
@deadpoolio
We get it, you hate MS. The following is off topic to the thread but relevant to you as a hater.
MS recently registered the domain names microsoft-sony.com and sony-microsoft.com. Why would they even want do this? First, MS is software while Sony is hardware so besides game systems there is almost no overlap in products or services. Second, MS doesn't like the hardware side of the business because it's more costly for them and owning Sony...
Agreed. The XB1 is very successful, selling better than 360 did in the same timespan. Nothing Sony can do will "end the competition". TBH, Sony nearly ended themselves before PS4 came along and saved their bacon.
You can get high off of cats in Destiny now? Cheesing, lol.
So Take 2 wants to take advantage of XB1 owners by offering them a choice to buy a preowned copy that would earn Take 2 nothing? What about PS4 owners who have no choice at all? How good does Bioshock look when you pay to stream it? Your statement is the dumbest thing I've heard in a while, and it gets really dumb here(confirmed by the fact people actually agree with you).
Devs openly support BC on XB1, and Rookie is not being stealthy at all. It is obvious. For those ...
Giving Frostbite the cold shoulder.
It's not a matter of IF the features are in DX11 yet, it's a matter of how long they've been there for devs to use. I suspect some, perhaps even a majority, of these features are being used in this year's 1st party line up. Conversely, game engines need to be built from the ground up for DX12 for all of these features to be used together properly. In all, the author's assumptions are fairly accurate, but are based on rather incomplete data regarding the behaviour of all of...
Then we could have extra hardware on chip again like the SNES did with "Mode 7".
360° is a REVOLUTION.
"One" is all your entertainment needs in ONE place, the Win10 ecosystem.
Apparently all Sony can do is count. A 2 year old can do that. Oh, they plagerized the Spider-man movies' font too, which was also very creative, lol.
Great place to keep your carbonited beverages chilled! ;b
Correct, but any site that knows hardware had stated that current gen systems couldn't do bc at all, let alone natively, due to processing speed limitations and differing archetectures. Not only did MS prove them all wrong, they also managed to emulate the entire 360 OS. Impressive.
It's gonna look awesome when I search the desk 50 times to find that picture! ;D
I'd say Itagaki with his versions of Ninja Gaiden, from Nes up, always kept difficulty high.
To be fair, if they have to drop resolution during the most intense moments I doubt we'd notice. When I upscale to 120fps with my tv, I find that I don't notice the artifacts most of the time. It seems that if I become too engrossed in the game and simply tune it out. If your tv has frame interpolation, try it for 30 minutes or so and see!
I love Forza, but I can think of something else I'd rather do... if I'm not driving.
@all the XB1 is so slow comments
It's because XB1 was designed to run Win10, not the current OS with all its patches which is slower now than at launch.
Hmm. A racing game that still feels like it's predecessors. Big surprise. What did they expect from a sim anyways, turtle shells and banana peels? Seatbelt physics? Come on.
I guess night racing and some of the most complex water-based physics ever simulated in a game weren't noteworthy enough?
I don't understand. They're worth it if you like them. How is this news?
