You may well be right Sir Reaper, and I may well be wrong.

However if website heat is any indication on sales, The Order probably has sold more copies than the bible. ;)

Destiny's reviews were glowing but not excellent, as it does lack content (e.g. IMO the exact same mission with a different level rating is not new content, its padding). This isn't an day one issue, look at the amount of content for your money in The Dark Below. Sigh. Can you honestly hand on heart say you think it is worth £15-20?

Basically, no amount of deflecting Detiny's real issues by shouting 'Games journos are all corrupt idiots who aren't in ...

As usual the truth is probably somewhere between "disaster for Sony" and "best game ev's and sold more copies than the bible" hyperbole that covers the internet like bindweed.

I was under impression that The Order was a commercial success (a new IP will never sell as many copies of CoD or FIFA), which is always more important than critical success as compliments don't fill pockets or buy yachts (only metaphorical ones).

Sony's ...

Sequel yes, remake.... probably not, played the original and the DLC and enjoyed both but no rush to replay them.

Revenge, addiction, stolen, cant feed their family so selling a valuable asset, bought it as present by rich benevolent uncle and didn't want it? Could be a million reasons why.

Strangely some people here seem to think this is CEX staffs fault. I like the staff in CEX (having you know... been in a few), they seem to know their stuff and are usually very friendly. Plus their trade in prices are often higher than competitors.

I'm pretty sure they would ...

He's right (and I don't always agree with Cliff)

Hardline makes some interesting moves with its SP structure but its still full of forced following of NPCS around (at their pace!) and having metaphorical road-blocks thrown up at you constantly.

Like usual, you are told that you are in charge BUT you get told what to do at the same time (??!). The allies do nothing significant, just spout exposition and get in the way.

Look at Biosho...

Makes sense. I played the first 3 to death and although Judgment IMO damaged the brand as it was mostly unnecessary, it did have some good ideas (mostly in the controller set-up and its MP modes).

I would be up for getting this (depending on the price).

Good article, written with a love for the series. Its obvious that yearly development ,plus a lack of interesting new ideas is dragging the series into the ground. Its creatively fallow and has been since a few games back. AC isn't the only sinner, lots of yearly release games are falling into same trap.

If they do insist on carrying on the series, a move back to a two-yearly dev cycle and working out the bugs would be at least a start.

That said, what ...

Game looks fun. As soon as he said Cannon Fodder I was sold. (Talk about a game that needs a HD update.)

Probably true. Counterstrike arrived on last gen but very late in game and probably too late to make a big splash.

Truth is,if you asked some of guys I used to play Call of Duty with to achieve an objective (no matter how simple) they would become so confused they would drop their M16's. It doesn't mean they are not proper gamers of course, just different and have different priorities. Sometimes gamers play once a week and maybe don't want the complexity?...who k...

Sad news. But its better the game is as good as it could be and it came out later, than be rushed out and full of bugs.

Easy to forget but plenty of other great third party games out this year to fill the gap.

The SP campaign in 2 and 3 was top notch so if this guys in charge thats good news on that front.

Same here, its great game. Its use of bots and stuff also mean that noobs can enjoy it as much as veterans.

Playing say BF4 is great but if you have little experience its tough to break into the rhythm as you keep getting killed over and over by the players who have been on it for nearly 18 months non-stop.

Titanfall is not a perfect game but it has some very good ideas. I have high hopes for a sequel, hopefully it will be multi-platform too to gain some mor...

There does seem like a strange disconnect as many modern MP gamers never bother playing the SP at all (many people on my friends list are like that). Therefore these guys probably wouldn't care that say...Titanfall is lacking in this department.

Titanfall gets a right kicking about this and as a fan of SP I can totally see why. People want good value for their money and whilst Titanfall is bargain at £20 including all the map packs, £50 is too much for the amoun...

I am eagerly awaiting EA and DICE's pending Star Wars Battlefront reboot, it cant come fast enough.

I would love to see a new Rogue Squadron game though. Not only was the GCN title a blast it looked great for the time. Imagine what they could achieve with today's tech?

Id like to see the squadron take against the remnant Imperial forces or perhaps a brand new enemy, even worse than before which means they have to form an uneasy reliance with the empi...

'Microsoft is packing too many games into the last 5 months of the year. I agree with others and even with Playstation fans we should have exclusives spring and the start of summer also.'

As a gamer who buys games year round its one of my major bug-bears that in the gaming world in general all the stuff gets slotted into Q4, every year man.

What it results in is having nothing to play in the Q1-3 and having no money before Christmas. Got to be a bette...

I'm one of the few people who really liked Alan Wake. Not a perfect game but a atmospheric and challenging survival horror and certainly enjoyed it more than Resi 6. (IMO I just got bored of it, even though I appreciate what it was trying to do).

As for Quantum Break, its better to delay something and for it to work than rush it out. You only need to look at some of last years biggest controversies and compare them to a great but delayed game like Bioshock:Infinite to see...

Didn't have many problems with Skyrim gunner but Fallout: New Vegas was rushed out for sure and full of bugs. A huge shame as when the bugs are fixed its actually a rather fine game.

Bethesda cant take full responsibility for NV though, they didn't make it after all. Bet they are glad about that ;)

Id rather play Fallout 4 as I am more a sci-fi than fantasy fan and Skyrim was last out, however I would settle for either.
