This is baffling. Why would it hurt ps5 more? I hope it offers competition to Switch, but this statement confuses me with ps5
The delay wasn't bad, because it needed it. But they didn't really have anything for the end of X1. Playstation had a crazy final year and still managed a launch for ps5 and solid first year. MS's reasoning: they fully shifted to next gen development, yet we haven't seen the pay off.
Their E3 was numerous CG trailers or in engine. They didn't even show Halo campaign footage to wash out the taste of the 2020 demo. They didn't even show Starfield gam...

Saying "Xbox has no games" is not literally Xbox has no games. It is just Xbox still has no games from them that are of note, whether 1st or 2nd party. This has been ongoing trend towards the end of X1 and will be until hopefully the fall. The author acknowledges this is a critical year, yet doesn't acknowledge that consumers on a larger scale are gravitating to the platform with most games from them. It's not just about which system is providing...
My god, why is this still a conversation point? Wait for a price drop. It is staying this because the Sony feels it's worth that price and consumers have not disagreed. This is evident by their charting either digitally, physically, or both. The industry appears to be heading in this direction anyway. Are there truly no other topics to discuss in gaming?
Really I think this is manufactured and should have been clarified back in February. These fans raging is likely not as loud as they are glorified to be. They bought them, they own them, and they can make their content exclusive. Content is king and pretty much every business have exclusive content for their establishment, their service, their platform. Exclusive content attracts customers potentially and are typically associated with a brand granting it identity.
So com...
The Irony is, Sony isn't really the slowest nor never been. Just capitulate to Sony's royalty clause.
Literally this is business. They got the largest install base so they want royalties for leaning into their base to populate their servers. Their platform generates most revenue. That's the leverage.
If 2k wants crossplay, just cave. They won't, because they don't wanna pay royalties. Guess crossplay is at the mercy of money, becaus...
I understand that but Series X is consistently outselling S there. They have Media Create and Famitsu sales provide charts that disprove the claim. That is the equivalent of Japanese NPDs
What is mind-blowing is that supposedly the SeriesS is more popular than SeriesX. Like, Mediacreate doesn't exist lol. They show the numbers
What fans are crying for the service? Are they referring to pseudo fans speaking for actual fans? Are you talking about the journalists pushing it like adverts themselves? Because GP has been around for years
Lmfao, yes the media often does. I can't decipher yet how they've pulled it off, but Nintendo is untouched mostly.
Looking Great. I hope it is exclusive. Be nice for to have Xbox with some dope exclusive content. And if it turns out really good and coming this year, I may grab one in the Fall
Indeed it will
Haha, so Microsoft own teams had to admit it lol. The game is technical marvel objectively, and subjectively I loved the story. Naughty Dog, where the hell is the upgrade for TLOU2 incorporating the haptics, triggers, 3d audio, and enhanced resolution.
I can't wait to see their next project alongside the alleged TLOU remake. So much more power and tech at their fingertips. Jesus man
Lmfao, talk about using one a part of the discussion to fit the article. If you watch the interview, he says it seems like meta critic means a lot to Sony, because they care more about brand perception then simply getting profit. They are like Disney, where they are not okay with a shitty movie just because it sells.
Not only that, there were number of issues with the development of the game including its poor management, quality, and long spurts of crunch.
Now t...
Thank God for all of this, literally has been the fuel for otherwise sluggish game news. Slow time to E3.
Lmfao, I agree with this idea if a lot of these games were even worth $60. I don't agree with every game going up $10, but that isn't the case. But Nintendo is charging full retail for ports of WII U and WII games.
Basically charge accordingly to work done with product. And consumers will decide the value is appropriate. But this logic should have applied before $60 games, especially with lil work I have seen done to cross gen titles.
Imo, DSR o...
Well, there is two ways to look at this. Globally it sold 570k roughly for PC. Within a year. That can be viewed as poor. Especially because Steam's MAU is over a 100 million, with taste more accepting than Playstation gamers
Another way to look at is that it's shocking a game like DS accumulated that many. And don't get wrong, I love the game.
@DC Bronco
They are trying, but they haven't remastered all of them. And for the ones remastered, what have they done? Wihich a large amount of gamers are against. Sell the remasters or remakes for a profit. Cleopatra from 1963 I had to use library at UM for a project in 2018. Until very recently, that was the only way I could find it. Now they are charging for it on Vudu, YouTube, etc...
As for a library, this again is an entity outside the manufactu...
@Tquila
If there was outrage during the ps3 gen, it was very mute compared to now. "This lost of games" has been happening since the original Nintendo lol. Even before that. So again, why isn't some of the preservation responsibility on the hobbyist as well?
Hell, even with you bringing up Xbox, I ask why? I have the Duke and near 100 games. How many work on BC? There were near 1000 games in total lol. What about 360? Which I have as well...
Holy shit that's egregious. They didn't even try lol. Ps4 is more than capable of HDR. And the PS5 version is grossly worse than even Series S version. I wonder how Sony moves from here? The Kumbaya shit gotta go.
