First impressions are so important and MS definitely blew that last E3. It'll take a long time for that ship to right itself.
Personally,I want to see if they give the X1 full core game support throughout its life cycle. If they do that and focus on games, next gen they will win hearts back.
Photorealistic right there lol.
@WillGJ, N4G is a place where books do get judged by their covers (description). If you don't want people judging your work by that then don't be such a tryhard to get clicks. Honest and unbiased work will do you fine (see Dual Shockers).
True, but as long as the flip flopping is reversing mistakes from Mattrick's shoddy vision to Spencer's better vision for the X1 gamers should be fine with it. I don't get the complaining, every reversal so far I can think of has been for the benefit of the gamer, people should be happy.
Had an issue trying to download Ducktales while it was on sale, after 3rd try I finally got it though.
Trying to be funny I guess, just comes off as immature.
I like Gears, but a great Crackdown and a great Fable would get me on board.
Lol, no kidding? It showed. The first was so fun, I loved how as you upgraded you felt more and more of a badass. A true sequel is more than welcome.
I disagreed because Crackdown is about climbing buildings, not destroying them. Unless we're talking about shattered glass and not actually taking a whole building down, then I'm cool with that.
I loved Crackdown, but Crackdown 2 was a huge letdown for me, I hope they don't let Ruffian anywhere near this game again, they sucked all the fun out of C2. All the franchise needed imo was improved melee mechanics, a new city, new bosses and gangs, and minor polishes and...
I hear so much about LOD I'll have to try it out. Does it pass the test of time?
@Pinkdolphinyfg, Actually yes, as far as total investments into the PS3 and 360, both lost their corporations money. http://www.vg247.com/2013/0...
Fortunately, losses can be written off yearly and fresh starts, so to speak, can be given with each fiscal year. In these terms both the 360 and PS3 started turning profits, but...
" but they need to show us they can make commercial successes outside of Xbox."
It's not the xbox brand that's made MS their money, it's Windows and MS Office. If anything is a commercial success it's that, not xbox.
Better hardware, better franchises (imo), track record for console support throughout it's life cycle. The value overall is just better.
I recently just bought a 360 though with a slew of exclusives and I must say I'm having a lot of fun with it. MS got many things right, and some even better than the PS3. But in the end Sony offers a lot more value in their consoles, they always have.
I would think this was meant to be more of a statement to Valve than anything.
Will be interesting if people take the moral high ground or not.
I like the premiss of the game.
I wish you guys success!
I look forward to playing this
Lol, wasn't expecting this.
I've still yet to complete 999. It's a good game, but it's very dialogue heavy, sometimes too much.
