Hmm, I've only heard praise. I think the author its just drumming up something because he is out of ideas. Of course there will be people that don't like it, but when 90% of the people love it, there's no need to write a article about the 10% that didn't.
I'll gladly take one, thanks. Nice contests btw.
It would make an awesome Epic Rap Battles video.
You cannot compare movies to games. But if you wanted to, why can I buy a brand new movie for under $20, but new games cost $60?
Right, it would be a mistake seeing as how the Vita in Japan is already getting way more support than in the West right now. Its the PS4 that needs more support in the East, so that's what they need to focus on.
That's because these petitions don't accomplish anything. When the petition is basically saying "please bring x-game to my console so I can buy it" its the wrong message. If the petition would have said "To CD/SE or whoever made the deal with MS, you done f'd up. Not only did you turn your backs on a HUGE market of gamers, but more importantly on the largest percentage of the TR fanbase that has actually been buying your games. From this point on, we will not buy an...
Maybe, but mine and many others' hype died a long time ago already. Now I look at these stories and feel this whole situation they put themselves in is pathetic. This dev team needs to go, they're riding off the success of two great games from a LONG time ago, as far as I'm concerned they haven't been earning their keep.
Doesn't matter, I'll still never buy it, at least a new copy. I did buy the original reboot, but this will be a rental or used copy. I won't financially support CD any more.
So what's the logic then? We'll sell FAR less copies, decrease the TR fanbase and just take that check?
I kinda remember articles that CD was bitter with Sony because Sony didn't market TR as much as Uncharted. They wanted TR to be just as big or bigger than Uncharted. I'm sure this created some salty feelings. But here's where this deal contradicts that. With this deal, TR will NEVER be that big now. Not only is the X1 fanbase a lot smaller, but the percentage of TR fans on the Xbox is also smaller when compared to the competition. And with this move they'll lose even more fans...
If you can't understand how this is bad for the industry, then you never will. Some people care about this industry, apparently you just care about yourself.
@marlinfan, which established multiplat franchise made by RAD did Sony moneyhat to become exclusive? I'll wait while you look for that answer.
People didn't say anything about Remedy and Alan Wake or QB, because those were new franchises with no existing fanbase. TR has long been multiplat, with the bigger part if the fanbase on PS consoles, see the difference?
No. This isn't the direction the industry needs to take. Developers making games and selling to the highest bidder only hurts the industry. This is why people hate MS, their business tactics are are only for their own benefit, and they don't give a shit about the industry as a whole. As a side note, if Sony did this I'd be just as mad. I hate shit like this, it seems like the game industry is getting more greedy as it gets bigger.
You're an idiot. I was going to post a retort to your ignorance, but then decided why should I when your ignorance is so obvious to everyone anyway. So I'll just say it again, you're an idiot.
You're not alone, I just don't see it being a great game. I've watched many gameplay videos and it looks pretty, zany, funny, but at the same time soulless, if that makes sense. There's just something that seems missing.
@stormfire, or because he correctly sees that a digital future is one with less consumer rights and more restrictions.
I can't believe some people were actually happy when Google bought them.
" Imagine watching TV but instead of a banner at the bottom running headlines its running ADS. The picture is only a part of the screen and ads are on the side ALL the time... It is coming!"
They already do. SyFy, Discovery and others play adverts of their other shows during programming on the bottom of the screen. The most annoying trend however is the popups of effin TWEETS! Was trying to watch the repeat of Sharknado 2 and there wad popup tweets every couple minu...
Calm down? Stop defending Sony on this, the prices are terrible. People shouldn't be quiet, there needs to be a uproar. I hope we see articles everyday from every website, blogger and Youtuber until Sony responds and lowers these prices. Its a serious slap in the face to consumers. Shit like this CANNOT become the norm and CANNOT be tolerated.
Well, he is Mrpsychoticstalker so I'm guessing he does.
