I never said they weren't, I even mentioned the originals (Crash and Crash 2 especially), were my go to games of the series in my comment. It matters because it's false information, Sony never owned the IP, so they can't "own it again" it's misleading, Activision or back in the day Vivendi/Universal have always owned the IP. Perhaps I'm a dying breed but I prefer my information to be factual, what is wrong with that?

Even with the new 32nm chips from this specific company using a reported 32G capacity, that is more space than a single layer Blu-ray disc, it is also never stated that this specific chipset is the one Nintendo intends to use, if they are even going down this path. But considering there are ROM chips that can hold 64G, 128G even 512G (tho I wouldn't at all expect Nintendo to use the high capacity cards due to costing to consumer) it's not at all "ridiculous" or "retard&...

Again? Sony never owned the IP in the first place, so it would be pretty hard for them to own it "again", I don't know why so many people make that mistake, it doesn't take a lot of research, just popping in one of the original games will suffice, or a quick google search. It is interesting info however, I would love to see Crash make a return, the original games especially were a blast to play. Collecting all the gems and crystals to see the different endings was always a f...

Outside of saving the game industry as a whole after the gaming crash of 1983 and bringing gaming back into the spotlight, as well as a bum deal between Nintendo and Sony ending up giving us all the Sony Playstation, there are plenty of things Nintendo has done to change gaming. Battery saves on cartridge, the traditional D-Pad, shoulder buttons, the rumble feature for controllers, arguably even portable gaming, yes there were other portable games machines at the time, but they were just one ...

@filchron
Sonic Adventure was still garbage compared to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It's called opinions, just because you didn't like Generations as much as Sonic Adventure doesn't make 343_Guilty_Spark's opinion any less valid.

"Secret Squirrel" is a saying, yes based on the cartoon Kamikaze135 mentioned, it's been round since at least the 60's, even the military adopted it. Basically just means top secret, only for those in the know. Hes basically saying he is doing some recording for a super top secret game, end of story, the squirrel part isn't meant to be taken literally.

So its Ratchet and Clank - The Reboot - The Movie - The Game, that's going to be one long title. Loving it though, always been a fan, it's a great series for a long lost genre. It's sad that Ratchet and Clank is one of the very few remaining platform collectathon type game series still remaining. I'm also glad that out of the few that remain this series is one of them.

While the visuals are lovely, and the exploration aspect still looks like its there, I can't help but be disappointed at the lack of turn based combat from the original, that and what on earth happened to Barret, instead of an updated version of his Advent Children model they have decided to turn him into a bulked out version of Wesley Sniped from Blade..ugh sorry but to me he just looks odd rather than badass. Jessie, Biggs and Wedge tho, they look fantastic. I'll save final judgemen...

Time and again? Twice out of six console generations is hardly time and again. Sony has had more underpowered systems compared to the competition at the time of release in its lifetime than Nintendo has.

I do agree with your other train of thought tho. They really do need to use some of the oodles of money they have to create a console that will outstrip its competitors again like in the year's prior to the Wii. They may have the cash, but being a lumbering giant that dis...

Sorry but personally I always thought Saturn Bomberman was by far the best Bomberman game. The single-player mode had plenty of levels and kick ass anime'ish cutscenes (for the time), not to mention the little dinosaurs you could upgrade and ride on and the multi-player was just to die for.

I think they meant to say that the iOS/Android version from Taxman/Stealth was the definitve version. While a great version in its own right, the 3DS version, even with the paralax 3D lacks in the added extras and care put into the iOS/Android versions. I mean come on, the restoration of Hidden Palace Zone, expansions to some of the levels, playable Tails and Knuckles etc is a far more interesting addition to the game than some filter effects, minor cleanup and some 3D paralaxing.

Seriously!? Megaman Legacy Collection. I'm guessing its a digital only release, but even so for them to only include the six NES titles from the original series is pathetic.

With the size of digital titles today and the capabilities companies now have with file compression there is no excuse for them to not have Megaman 7, Megaman 8, and even Megaman & Bass in this set.

Sure if this does well they will probably tease a release for an X Collection but ...

Wouldn't surprise me if it was a PS4 port of Dragon Quest X Online, probably decided to try releasing it on PS4 instead of Wii U in territories outside Japan due to the perception of Nintendo's online multiplayer being subpar elsewhere in the world.

Still waiting on that Dragon Quest VII localization on 3DS Square-Enix. Still waiting.

While they still can?? You do realize that Nintendo have more cash in hand and in the bank than both Sony and Microsoft's gaming divisions, as evidenced by every fiscal report on total holdings. They have nothing to be worried about currently, why would they feel the need to pull a Sega? Sega was running in the red when they did what they had to if they wanted to stay around. Nintendo won't be doing anything that drastic for a very long time if those reports about them being able to m...

I'm feeling confident these are the guys that will look after the Starcontrol franchise now that they own it. Here's hoping they put even half as much effort and love into it as these ambitious projects they are currently full swing into developing. Can't wait to see what's coming next from Stardock :)

Not only that but one of their selling points seems to be that it is in HD, almost insinuating that it wasn't before. Which is odd, because it was, on all the older release systems involved. It may not have been full "true" 1080p but 720p is still considered HD.

The lying or covering up is a bit scummy, especially when you had been asked many times, but it is really nothing to get too burned up over unless you particularly wanted it specifically on your new syst...

Megaman/Megaman X or GTFO, you have had forever to find out "where Megaman fits in this generation of gaming", and Mighty No 9 seems to have made a boat load without even being released yet..your excuses are wearing thin Capcom >.<

I don't think this guy has done his research very well, Crash has ALWAYS belonged to what is now a portion of Activision. Boot up your copy of the original Crash Bandicoot. It was bankrolled by Universal, which then became known as Vivendi in it's later life, which was in turn brought out and then merged with Activision.

Naughty Dog may have created and developed it, but they didn't EVER hold the rights to Crash Bandcoot. It always belonged to Universal who are no...

No, there really isn't anything more to it. It is just wishful thinking and making something out of literally nothing. Square isn't the big and well respected/trusted developer it used to be, hell a lot of the old big wigs are now scrambling to keep up with western developers.

I miss the glory days too, and FFVII is one of my favourite RPG's along with Chrono Trigger and many of the earlier SNES FF games. But we have to face facts here, they are porting FFVII to P...
