I'd be scared of losing my multi-coloured Ivory tower too.

Google will survive, or have to cut back a little on the employee pampering.

Rock those stoics at SECJ Phil!

I get this disturbing picture that Japan is mostly filled with a lot of people not willing to play games together in person as much.

Hey, does anyone remember FarCry for the Xbox... Remember the 5 minute intro video that couldn't be skipped because the game was pre-cashing data to the system.

How long before that has to happen again? (Aside from Obilvion on the 360)

My only beef with installs is that Heavenly Sword is 2.5 GB roughly and DMC4 is 5GB. The installs could be smaller. Other games only require anywhere from 200-600mb.

Basically to have a slim back-up for the PS3, you have t...

You sir, hurt me.

Oh and 'Dude' was forgotten somewhere in there as well. That's one thing I can no longer stand.

Eh… That's just how we roll in Canada.

@ ALItheWISE; Glad to hear that you, like Atlas, are keeping the economy strong and lofty.

Curiouser and curiouser...

Wonder what final product will look like. Too bad there's no mention on who's doing the comic. Still, I'll be keeping an eye out for it.

You, like Congress as G.W. Bush has stated, need to lean to be responsible with money and not spend money like a kid with a new credit card.

YOU LACK FINANCIAL DISPRIN! Put the money in the bank.

I would have to say that the PS Eye would be immensely more fun if games like this kept coming out. This demo proves that it more fun to have a game structure, but leave a majority of the content to the user.

Similar to the ideas of the Wii, but freer with the expression.

That's one step for stability, one big tumble for functionality.

Willing to bet that the 45nm processors are really going to go towards making smaller, faster and energy efficient computers or super computers. They're probably working to cut apple out of the micro laptop market in Asia. IBM is probably in it to stick it to Intel.

I think their challenge will be to get it to work around getting the Cell processor to be more inline with general processors like AMD and Intel.

Not at all. However really creative marketing idea. That Marketeer deserves a gold star.

Yeah, no kidding. Talk about raising the bar on things.

Quite the way to say; "In your face with a can of mace!".

@Captain Tuttle

Which is non-sense given that I remember reading a few years back that America is already laced with fiber-optic cable. I think Google was planning on buying it up eventually.

Either way, Digi-distro will only take off when fiber-optic modems / lines are put directly into the houses. DSL is close to maxed and with digital TV via cable, that's almost maxed as well.

If half the internet is being used to ship movies and tv (given that this is entirely legal distributions going on), then doesn't that make for the argument that if a major percent of everyone was to go digital distribution that the internet tubes would become clogged worse than ever?

Not to mention that the curbing of illegal downloads is through bandwidth limitation or quotas per month/week. I don't believe that the ISPs are going to be flexible as everyone will want when the d...

I'm hesitant that this will be a great Civ game. Don't get me wrong, Civ games are for the most part great and always self-improving, but I haven't found much different from this Civ and Civ IV.

Good to know it's for consoles only, but I don't seeing it playing as well as the PC versions have. That and if they don't have Leonard Nimoy narrating again, I call it bust!

but speculation is a very fun thing indeed.

I have to say I would go mad / be overly bored at work. I have access to the internet which gives me audio/visual news as well I can free roam when I'm not overly busy.

And music calms my soul.

Still, this is an extreme mod. They should have been less picky about cords in the front.
