Alright, fair. Then perhaps you should take it a step further and look at the bottom 20 - 25% and see what the results are for that.
Do a full spectrum of games that get x% rating and see where things are lining up over all. Sure the top 20% may draw a large crowd, but there's the gimmicky crowd that will get games rating be damned.

Not saying PSN titles are the bomb, but the fact is they are games made specifically for the PS3 and/or the PSP. The Virtual console is comprised of older games already released for a prior incarnation of a Nintendo system.
Comparing the top 20% exclusives would reveal a different contrast given there's a gap between the consoles, which essentially puts them on the level of a game cube plus and a next (current) gen console.

To be honest, I place games in the same category of book and films. They do entertain, but bring (in most cases) an interesting story and interaction to that story. It's not that I'm escaping reality, it's just that I want to explore a different one for a while.
If you have to claim that video games a childish, then put Harry Potter, Comic books, fiction books, family films, 'chick flicks', practically any movie not based on real events into the that category of escapism.

I don't think that a movie needs to be done live action.
As is, the games (MS3 in particular) are highly cinematic, broken with the occasional game play. If there was a way to translate that aspect of the game into a movie, with a good story, then screw live actors, cut the cost of the movie, and get it out fast.
See how viable that would be before spending more money and making a live action version.

I pay taxes included in my blank CD-Rs and DVD-Rs. Those a portion of those taxes make their way into the hands of the Canadian Recording Industry and in return they can't bother us for downloading music.

p.s. what in gauds glorious name is with people and '30 fps'? Anything over 24 fps means you don't see huge skipping. Get over 30 fps.

So this is like a retro active review given that in all likely hood the first three 'Rambo' movies inspired CoD4. I don't think they started filming the movie AFTER the game came out.
Battery space / connection ports have not been allocated on this mock up. It does seem nice, but not 100% viable. (not enough buffering space around the screen.) Would like to still see the old WLAN hard-switch.
I'll say this however, given the state of OLEDs and the size of Blu-Ray diodes, a touch version could possibly be in the future. Probably replace the red laser UMD drive for a BR-UMD.
