Well not die but definitely suffer a little.
"I didn't say that it lacks indie support. What I said was that Swich lacks third party support (AA and AAA titles) that PlayStation and Xbox have. So people buy some of Nintendo games and indies in the meantime."
Okay, but PC? Why do Indies end up being successful on PC when there are mountains of AA and AAA support to be found?
I think I've already told you this but the article is labelled as RUMOR. No one takes VGChartz as fact so you can calm down and stop copy and pasting this every time.

"I disagree. Yes, this is competition. You talk about how specialized the current stores are, but Epic obviously isn't following that model."
We have yet to see that. EPIC already have their own client and it was bascially their version of Battle.net.
"Origin actually is already quite open as well. You mentioned Ubi games are sold there. So are WB games and a ton of indies."

@ShadowWolf712
Post these numbers then. Don't talk about facts if you're not going to present them.
"y'know... opinions and all."
Waiting for those facts buddy.
@ChrisW
Its very easy to say it's EA until we see that even DICE developers have been outspoken in their defence of the game. Theres a point where we have to accept that the dev team is also responsible for generating the controversy.
@RizBiz
"It would cleverly reflect the mental maturity of the competitors and spectators as well."
Mate to break it to you but we saw immaturity from competitors and spectators long before E-sports was ever a thing.
@Segata
They'd be better off not. The Olympics is not exactly a reputable organization so using it as some sort of qualifier is stupid.
@PapaBop
If you see what goes into training for things like Dota or LOL then you would not be saying that. Athletes who've seen this and originally criticised E-sports have actually come to change their view on this after seeing this.
Theres a thing people always forget though when it comes to defining words and it's that definitions can change. Many countries consider chess a sport but there's no physical exertion. Definitions evolves and that's just a natural part of any language.
Calling it E-sports is fine. If all this man cares about is the definition then he's just wasting everyone's time. The "E" is enough to alter the word and give it a new meaning if he wants to di...
@Razzer
We have Origin for EA and Ubi games, steam for a huge amount of everything and most major releases, Battle.net for Activision Blizzard games, GoG for remakes and DRM free releases and Upla-... actually no Ubisoft doesn't care tbh. Adding another only splinters things.
EPIC won't be able to compete here. The most I can see is them becoming a storefront for Chinese releases being localized for the West. It's very difficult to not see tha...
@purrfection
"Tell me, why do people keep throwing money at it? I think that is part of the problem, you keep collecting money there is no reason to quit development and get an actual release date."
There's a subscription service and that's likely where a lot of the money is coming from.
"They have 500 people working on it, that is a lot of salaries to pay. What happens if they stop collecting, they just stop dev...

It was definitely overpriced when all they offered was streaming and was absolutely a failure. Thats where the initial criticism on price came from. Don't pretend people kept that opinion once they began offering PS4 games to download.
Now the service is very good and more than worth the money. If anything we should be asking what happened to the Game Pass criticism since PS Now went in the same direction. Both good services and more than worth their money.
...
If you enjoy input lag then go for it. Also what resolution are the games streamed at? Because of it drops anywhere near 720p the people here are gonna have a fit.
You're anecdotal experience is irrelevant to the fact that PSN was down for many at the time.
"It's on topic because the topic is about online network reliability"
So PSN is down and we talk about XBL and Nintendo Online? If you believe the topic is network reliability then talk about that rather than your personal experience with trying to download Halo 5. Your bandwidth is not exactly that helpful for the rest of us to know, is it?

PC services go down now and then. Although to be fair if Origin goes down I have my steam library. If an online game within Steam goes down I can just play another so there is that benefit.
I think it's because it comes across as damage control. Xbox and Nintendo are not relevant to the topic of PSN being down right now. Why mention them?
Apparently segregation promotes more women to get into the scene. This has been shown with things like chess too so if anything it was unisex until it turned out women didn't want to take part.
Now this is seen as the more "equal" option. Kinda stupid but if that's what people want more power to em. Just don't complain if the female scene gets less attention than the male one is what I say :/
