If they do well I'd say they could surpass half. But they're definitely not competing with lifetime sales.
Because Cyberpunk is not made by R*. Rockstar have hit the point where their brand sells regardless of quality. RDR2 didn't just sell because it was a great game, but because Rockstar has brand recognition that's unparralled in this industry. CDPR have recognition among the hardcore but not the casual.
@Daeloki
That's okay but their argument was "why would Parker wear Miles suit?". Well, why is Peter wearing the Ben Reilly or Kaines suit then? Its almost on par with DICE's comment about a pink Darth Vader in BF2.
@ShadowWolf712
The Raimi movies are actually good (maybe minus the 3rd) and were an example of how to do superhero movies in a time where they weren't nearly as popular as they are right now. With that s...
@Ciporta1980
Still Salty about that L, huh?
Sony were a barrier and we're still not sure if they're 100% on board but they've made steps with Fortnite. Full crossplay among all major platforms is what they were effectively blocking. That was clear and no one said that if they reversed their policy we'd see instant progress on crossplay for all MP games.
@RememberThe357
It follows a non-traditional story structure for a superhero movie and fits a hell of a lot into 2 hours. It's an origin story that really doesn't feel like one. The art style is gorgeous and the choice of music is on point.
Hope you enjoy it if you watch it :)
@VenomUK
I have Dota 2 sitting at over 6000 hours so yeah its easily possible if you have a game you can enjoy endlessly.
@DevilHunterDante
"This is a freaking cartoon."
Video games are for children, amirite? Try again. Next argument.
@LucasRuinedChildhood
In an instance like that, I'd say that the employee is the sucker, unfortunately. A hard worker whos being taken advantage of by a go-getter manager.
That's not strictly true. There are a lot of factors that can go into it but to give an example the union for my first job at a supermarket was optional and had a £2.20 per month fee and they frequently negotiated better pay and provided legal support when needed. Hardley a drain on my pay when it saved my neck and many others on numerous occasions against a few members of upper management who thought they could overstep boundaries.
"I’m not reacting at all"
Lol.
@hungryalpaca
Incredible visual design, brilliant soundtrack, superb pacing, far more varied/interesting characters, better humour and delivers a creative narrative with very few faults. You've got your work cut out for you if you want to even attempt to defend the position of SM2 being better.
Typically though it seems people like to state an opinion but not back it up so I don't expect much.
@Smokehouse
Dude you can read the responses and there's no outrage. If anything the first response that calls anyone any names or comes across as angry is actually one defending Insomniac.
I think you've overreacted without actually reading any of the responses.
The movie is easily now the best Spiderman movie ever made.
Also, I think they shouldn't act dumb to this. It's obvious that the Parker suit from the movie is more or less a variation of the basic suit whereas Miles graffiti suit looked beautiful and was something new. Anyone in their right mind would rather that than what we got.
Wait, what?
@travestyj
Okay, so anything that could be seen as sexualising children should be censored? Anything that a pedo may get aroused by should be censored yes? Well then I hate to break it to you but it looks like Sony is perpetuating a double standard: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Didn't Sony get attacked for depicting domestic violence in Detroit? Why is it okay for Sony to ce...
It really is. I think the problem is you have fanboys who've for the entire generation been talking about MS's lacking first party support (and rightly so), but as soon as it appears MS is making steps to rectify this we see downplaying from them. Is it too soon to say how any of this will turn out? Yes. Can you spin any of this into a negative? Only if you feel threatened by the possibility of a stronger performance from MS in the future.
Yeah it's pretty much a spin-off.
The legal division can't really do much about online infrastructure soooo....
@Nyxus
"His games have been critically and commercially successful, so he is in fact a good game designer."
I just gave you an example where his game received an award for a performance that contained a lot of improvisation. He even admitted he didn't like the performance these two actors did for the game. Connor and Hank were easily the best-received characters in Detroit by a large margin compared to Markus and Kara. If Cage did such a goo...
It was a fun game but it was by it's very nature a more casual Dota game. That's not to say it was bad but that it wasn't as technical as it a competitors. Dota 2 even took a bit of the talent system and implemented it (which I really like). But overall it was always living in the shadow.
