If you look back when Killzone came out for PSP piracy was rampant then and Sony said they lost a lot of sales for that alone. The rampant piracy compared to legit sales killed any sort of interest developers may have had in the system. Its not something to just sweep under the carpet. It was the major reason the system lost out.
