It sounds like Microsoft isn't far off launching their system. Either late next year or a slight delay. PS4 no idea.

Its definitely got more core support than Wii did at this time. Maybe after Wii developers are more trusting of Nintendo then they were before.

Tekken seals it. I am now buying more launch titles with Wii U than any other system I've previously owned. Now just confirm Ninja Gaiden and that will make things even sweeter ;)

What your not saying is it doesn't need to sell like Wii to be successful. Wii was a huge success and is hard to repeat.
But this could sell as well as Gamecube and still be successful because Nintendo sell at profits. As long as that continues and they sell a healthy amount its successful.
Personally I think it will do about half as well as Wii did. Somewhere between 40 and 50 million.
And yet people were dooming this thing 5 minutes after announcement. It seems Iwata was right. The online reaction was the same as Wii but it didn't mean a thing.

I doubt it will be as successful as Wii but its very unlikely to fail.
Which is why you should thank Nintendo. If it wasn't for them the game wouldn't be continuing production and nobody would be able to play it. Its clear Sega couldn't afford it going off rumors earlier this year.

We know nothing about the next Xbox and PS4 so its far too early to say yet.
I agree about Nintendo Land but I'm sure Nintendo will have their other games ready later. For now we have Pikmin 3 and thats really good so we aren't being starved. I do feel a 3D Mario would be better but that will come in time.
Sega are in a bad position financially. The fact they are dedicating their resources to downloadable games which are cheaper kind of says it all.

Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden, Mass Effect, Aliens, Monster Hunter, CoD, Assassin's Creed, Tekken and Darksiders II were core games...... then they got on Nintendo :P

It depends how you go about it. If you release 2 new mario games a year on a regular basis (and I doubt they would) then yeah I'm calling you out.
More like Microsoft's fanbase needs to worry about Kinect 2. If these are the same people who gave Wii the finger and bash Nintendo for gimmicks they won't take MS shoving it down their throats.
OT = I do remember complaints about hard drives with the slim. It made all your progress useless unless it was online data on servers so you had to start your games again. Microsoft's consoles do need to be more flexible in this sense.
