The people crying failure on these consoles need to realise while its possible they could fail, the chances of it happening are VERY slim.
Just give Vita some time naysayers. Then you won't look like fools when your proven wrong.
I don't think they need to advertise a PS3. The majority of people know PS3 is out.
Until Wii U comes out at Christmas and suddenly sales of 360 will look a lot smaller compared to that of a new console.

I wouldn't even be surprised if its delayed a bit longer. Anybody expecting it this year now is fooling themselves.
I still think its coming to Wii U as well. If Nintendo have call of duty, mass effect and assassins creed I would be stunned if they didn't push to get this.
We know we are. Companies are greedy and acting entitled to our cash. They need to stop dictating what we are entitled to. The customer is always right. ALWAYS! No exceptions.
Entitled greed isn't going to fly forever. Ask Capcom and their SF X T flop. Free DLC is a good way to get customers on your side. Good on them. People will keep buying their stuff.

I was going to point out the flaws in your comment -Mika- but the fact that you don't know Wii has Netflix and a browser (something 360 hasn't) proves you don't even own a Wii. Or you don't use it enough to know that.

The most obvious fake to me has been the used game blockage because consumers aren't stupid and would stand against that. Neither Microsoft nor Sony would get away with it.
I don't question kotaku's sources because I am sure they are informed some how and naturally it must have been talked about at some point (similar rumours came up with PS3) but nobody has the guts to go through with it.

I could be asking the very same thing about Call of Duty. Funny everybody digs on Mario for this but NSMB hasn't seen a sequel since NSMB wii. Thats was in 2009.

Who really expects this game to be well balanced? You would have to jump through a lot of hoops to be able to pull it off when the roster is big.
I love gaming dedicated handhelds as well but the masses into handhelds (mainly children) love stuff like Angry Birds. Its a very easy to pick up and play game and dirt cheap on I-Phones.
I still think there is room for gaming dedicated handhelds or 3DS wouldn't have pulled through. But while a lot of us love our dedicated handhelds people should remember that it still isn't the mainstream market. The target audience of handhelds is primarily children who want quick b...

What are you talking about? Nintendo admitted from the very start 3DS was doing poorly. And it was still outselling Vita's figures on a lifetime sales basis.
