Sega and Nintendo were the ones in direct competition. Both were specifically game companies and Sega would always throw those adverts out. In mascots they were also similar. That is what I mean when I say "split base". Sega had pretty much the same image as Nintendo and Sega lost out. Yes Sony was a large part but mostly it was Sega's decisions as a hardware manufacturer. Sega were the closest company next to Nintendo and as result, Nintendo is the company still making hardware...
The problem is since Xbox serves the exact same purpose as a PlayStation one of the two must cave eventually. You can't split the base forever. Since nobody at all can 100% guarantee Microsoft won't bring these used game policies back people would just side with Sony.
The person buying Mario is not the same person interested in Microsoft's offerings. Also the Wii U is a lot cheaper. A LOT cheaper.
Your confusing Monolith with Square Enix.
We all know it will become an annual event if EA see it sell enough.
You can't blame the firmware for this one. Honestly I'm not surprised by this news.
My question is how many people will truly make use of it?
Titanfall is clearly getting overshadowed by Destiny. If Titanfall can't be matched why are pre-orders for the game so low?
I disagree. Sony have better games.
Its difficult to say at this point. Realistically I can see PS4 slowing down a bit here in the UK because the price is still quite high.
I think Sony have nothing to worry about though. Microsoft have already done most of the work for them. Every day that goes by the Xbox One just looks worse and worse in comparison.
Crytek was specifically one of the developers pushing hard for the highest capabilities possible. Microsoft's payroll have anything to do with it?
I seriously cannot believe the hypocrites in this industry.
Wasn't he the same guy who said Wii U was a 360 with a touch screen controller? He seemed to claim power was important then but now......
Fifa 14 on Vita being Fifa 13 repackaged. Thats a steal alright..... for EA.
Aaron Greenberg says what he is paid to say. He said Halo 3 outsold all those PS3 exclusives combined yet he hasn't been using all that money to invest in as many true exclusives as Sony or Nintendo do.
I fully agree 2 million sales for Bayonetta was great. During the PS2 era that would have been immense. The thing is Sega would have been looking at a bigger picture. They gave Platinum four chances to go places and nothing stuck to the wall. The first was Madworld which opened to poor sales so they blamed Wii. But take a look at the sequel (Anarchy Reigns) and you'll see it sold just as badly on PS3 and 360 so this clearly wasn't a demographic thing.
Bayonetta met st...

We all know the game won't perform well in sales. That is why only Nintendo want it. The reason Kamiya is annoyed is because they have repeated the answer time and again and people ignore it.
It might sell better on PS3 and 360 but Sega think its a flop. Because of that they aren't doing it. They know it will sell more there but they don't see any gain in this franchise so they dropped it and never looked back.

I don't know why people can't take a hint. Its nice highlighting Ninja Gaiden II and Mass Effect but those were different situations.
Real fans of Bayonetta will support the game and buy the console to get it. Otherwise they clearly don't care enough or not as much as they pretend to.
When the game just released? Wouldn't the original be a better idea?
I hope this isn't going to become some trend.
Its probably something to do with building a new engine or something. EA don't make sense to me anymore. They are sending Fifa to die on the Vita and they know it.
That just sounds weird. You test the game and one of the things you forgot to check is if the game can boot up with two controllers?
