Don't kid yourself. You're renting them. They are not free. Big difference son.
They all copy each other! Everyone copied analogue sticks off Nintendo. Consoles copied online gaming from PC's.. PC's now plug and play 360 controllers. Who cares Fanboy !
100% this. So I upgraded to PC master race :)
Well said. This article reminds me of the saying "the pot calling the kettle black".
I have to say. That grass beats Skyrim Texture mods for looks. And that's saying a lot!
I think most modern gaming PC's will be able to handle it at 1080p 60fps easy enough by the time it's released. Running 4K is another story.
Saying a $800 rig can't run it is far too vague to comment on. How longs a piece of string?
An $800 rig build in 2007, no. An $800 rig now, easy.
@ Bang
Sounding like mum bought you a X1 for Xmas and you had no choice.
Lol .. Don't worry both consoles are 'great'.
Its always make me think twice about credibility too. Not just with gaming news. However, a good journalist has a code of conduct and they won't burn their bridges. Which is also somewhat convenient for non-creditable sites.
What it really needs is bot matches like the earlier BF's.
It's nice to be able to hone your skills on BOTs first.
Rather than vRAM, GPU shader/core clocks have a FAR greater impact on FPS. Of course if you exceed you vRAM capacity that will kill FPS but mostly vRAM is marketings numbers of late. At 1080p 2GB VRAM is ample and in most cases 1GB is too. But a 4-6GB VRAM GPU with SLOW clocks is going to suck regardless. Also a 6GB card won't run 1080p any better than a 2GB card at the same clocks.
Anyway, everything needs to be extreme to run 4K at 60fps right now, thats not even taking...
@ Mhunterjr
What utter rubbish.
Microsoft simply wanted $$$.
The rationalization you have brought up are nothing but semantics, its a bit sad it alludes people. 'Certification and distribution' is a bogus admin fee, just like WQHL drivers are for Windows OS's - only difference is consoles owners foot the bill.
Besides, don't people think paying Xbox Live members are already covering any such "costs" required to pass o...
So many disagree's yet you speak truth. But I live in Japan so what would I know either right!
Money is a factor but you need to understand that after years of the consoles nickeling and dimming that adds up massively. Consoles you're pretty much parting with similar money only it's in installments instead of upfront.
That's true. There is no need to upgrade often. But many PC games get a taste of Max settings at high framerates and find it difficult going back.
I was the same age as you Ozmoses. I remember playing it by myself at night being $hit scared. You're right about the classification. No one that sold games back then even noticed they had classifications on them.
Fair enough
I don't get why you want to play a next gen game on a crappy little screen with 2rd class sound and control, if there's a big ass TV and the real next gen experience infront of you.
Lol Typical jealous butthurt fanboy behavior. What lamers.
I know, I can't believe people don't have this already. Tight asses :D
The thing is there aren't any other open world games like the elder scrolls where you can adventure around and discover with a few buddies.
Telling people to play Borderlands is stupid, it's a terrible substitute and is far from open.
It's a shame because MMO's generally suck and have watered down physics and rubbish hit detection. I don't want to this to flop but the odds are against it.
Is rather have seen a demon souls type coop.
