Its called PR people. An pretty effective I've noticed from most of the comments here.
Its gives the perception that PS4 is scarce and in high demand. True on not, its better if your product is viewed as hard to get, rather than a dust collector. People want more of what they can't have.
It also makes Jack and the Sony crew look like champs.

I'm reasonable sure it is apparent. 1st party games also run sub 1080p at 30fps. Yes Forza runs full HD at 1080p, but consider that all the previous Forza's ran 720p 60fps on 360, so its not exactly a great milestone.
I'm not picking on either side here. But the fact these new consoles can't at least brute force their way to 1080p 60fps for these early and graphically conservative titles is very worrisome.
Dam, and if you play those games I'm listening. I haven't played pCars but I had high hopes it would have a great sim engine that matched it visuals.

I've actually got it on PC. It looks great. I've just really anal about my FPS more so than visuals
We don't even know how much better the 800 series will be. The first batch that are coming out in Q1 are still on the old 28nm die size. 20nm will come Q3 which is what is likely to be a significant improvement.

ATI do you actually have a 4k TV yet? Curious if they have DVI in's? HDMI is a bottleneck that worries me about these first gen 4k TV's.

A 500 GB HDD loses 35GB after a format no matter what. So we're left with 465. So if its full at 362GB that means the OS is 103GB !!! Holey $hit. That's more bloat than a 4 x full Windows 7 installations!
I have it on PC and can't even be bothered with it, but not for the crashing. I didn't suffer any crashes but my mate couldn't even get through a game.

I've got it on 360. I have to say I loved it but the whole time was wishing it was 1080p and 60fps. Its a day 1 purchase for me on PC. Yep, Rockstars screwed me good.
