^^Where did you get that info from? The RX480 is slower than a GTX 1060, The GPU inside of the Scorpio is closer to a GTX1070 according to digital foundry.
it's a digital display, it probably also has other settings too in the options menu with descriptions. it's also a dev kit so developers know plenty about performance.

Hopefully next generation is the era when games will start using better simulation.
505 games helped made Sniper elite 3, which was lesser than QB. So hopefully Remedy will help teach them how to make a good action game.

Sounds like the complete opposite from the way this generation started, and the last generation too. just to be considered 1080p has been a big thing in this past 12 years. now pixels don't matter no more because 1080p has been destroyed.

At first i was thinking of the same thing days ago, but the Hovis method would only translate to a 1 fps difference. (possibly a theoretical 2) This is because even though conditions might be more feasible in each motherboard; the clocks speeds will still idle to factory default for thermal reasons....

technically they do when they patch profiles for some games. all boost mode does is free up available system resources. Maybe not all games will need to use it though.
