@Allsystemgamer
So you think the world consists of US, Europe and Canadians. Sorry to burst your bubble, but they consist around 15% of the world population.
On topic: I wonder how North America vs Europe stack up against each other artistically when it comes to the quality of the photos.
Because they are real professionals and artists. Respect!
TLOU sells 7-8m + DLC on PS3. Predicted sales for PS4 version are around 1-2m (long-term cautious estimate).
GTA V sells 32m on ps3 and xbox 360. Re-release gets two hottest new platforms and the ever expanding Steam, it's a comprehensive remake and they expect it to sell 1-2m? I'd say this thing probably leans towards 5-10m longterm.
But hey, I'm not an analyst and I don't know what I'm talking about, right? ;)
Edit: Rig...
It's in the top 5 for me. The design of the game could use some extra work, but overall, it's just such an incredible journey (I'm halfway on my first PS4 remaster playthrough), that I cannot find anything to match it.
This game is one of the few games that actually lived up to the hype and more.
How about Elite? Or Trade Wars?
I disagree. I want good, unique and exclusive games for Vita. It's supposed to be a PSP2, a dedicated portable gaming device. Well, that's why I bought it anyway... If Sony nor 3rd party doesn't provide what I'm seeking, might as well sell it.
Have you guys checked out the track record of the companies that are publishing and developing this game? A quick wikipedia search revealed some worrying facts...However, as a huge Souls' fan, I remain cautiously optimistic! I welcome competition as well, the more souls type games the better.
Yeah, bring it on! I'd buy a big and fun graphical powerhouse racer for PS4! Ohh, four people drunk playing motorstorm on ps4... das the party!
Yay! I happen to have ps+ Japanese account so this is absolutely great news! :)
Go Team Finland! :)
yabadabadoo!

How can you say that after hundreds of families lost their loved ones?
This should be renamed to "Stoned Simulator 2014"!
Who cares about EA! Go make your money, suits. Bath in your money, eat it and get yourself tanned during those non-cultural hollow hotel vacations without understanding anything of the our gamers' world. Yeah, make your money, we don't need your games!
We will just enjoy the real game art meanwhile. Oh yes, there's plenty out there. Sure, you can laugh all the way to the bank, but meanwhile we will be having too much fun with your competitors products, that we can...
The only thing we are uncomfortable with, is _where_ it is growing. Data says there's still room for core audiences to grow. The problem is that gaming is getting diversified into too many platforms and devices (easy money being the main motivation), so it's hard for particular (i.e. casual) audiences to find certain (i.e. hardcore) experiences in the device and platform jungle.
It's also challenging for an engineer to focus on innovation and creativity when the ...
Ishin was their best game to date! It's a mix of Ryu Ga Gotoku, Shenmue and Japanese history and the art of samurai etc. Meiji restoration and Shinsengumi are already too intriguing as topics, and on top of it, Ryoma Sakamoto is a national hero in Shikoku.
I played Ishin on PS4, and haven't tried their most famous title: Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5.
Here's hoping for another historically semi-accurate game!
A great commercial for the Americans! It seems nothing has changed at MS when it comes to marketing their latest box in Japan:
-Japanese have no idea what "Gamesradar" or "Destructoid" is, plus they translated these English-written opinions for Japanese people? (there is already huge cultural friction here)
-Too many FPS games. Japanese people cannot play them for too long, because they get dizzy very easily, and they are neither accustome...
Do it! Because we will buy it :)
Not true. Using it as a console. There just aren't enough big games on it, so I can't use it more than as a companion "accessory".
However, I do not consider my 400e investment (mem cards and other accessories) any less than my ps4 investment of the same amount. Why would one be a companion and the other a gaming console?
Did I just buy a second screen and a portable Ouya? Seriously, I'm getting fed up with the Vita story.
Just let the man be. Let him speak, without judging him. He will eventually realize what he is, and what he is not. In good and bad.
We are dealing with an artist here. The psychology is a little bit different than what you (we) mass media people are used to.
