I thought it was good! If they keep the same mentality, but iron out the small flaws, make it bigger and stay humble, it will be a fun show to watch. Or even attend to!
The best bits for me were No Man's Sky, 65 Days Of Static live performance, The Sierra piece + the first and the last performance.
Thanks for the people who made this happen! I will be a proponent for the future game awards.

Take my wife! And money! And blood!
When I was a kid, on Amiga, I remember trying climbing a tree for three hours to get that skill up.
I would really like to have MGS 1-4 + Peace Walker HD + MGS5 for PS4 in one package. It should include the Gamecube remake and the original with some effects and higher resolution and reworked audio quality etc.
That would increase MGS5 sales at least a million so it would be worth it.
I played both on a Japanese Wii and later on using Dolphin. I don't own the Xenoblade Chronicles, so I can't play it. Also, I like playing games in Japanese to train my language abilities. Thanks for the tip, though!
You are right, I really gotto find time and put some effort into finishing this game. Sadly, I think I have to start it all over again (for the third time), but the emulator runs now 100%, so it's all good.
Oh yeah, Bit Map Brothers. Xenon 2 Megablast! Team 17 had the coolest art and logo as well. Psygnosis, too. Everything those guys made was golden. And the music...damn! I still listen to the soundtracks.
Check this out, it's dynamite!

I heed your advice! The new Zelda interests me as well. Gotto finish Twilight Princess one of these days. Was a really good game.
Also, gotto like your alias. Brings memories from Chaos Engine!
The last good Co-Op game for me was Halo:CE. It was a blast with a good gamer friend, video projector, surround sound, junk food and alcohol!
Takahashi is my favorite game maker, but I still haven't finished Xenoblade (still ashamed of that). I just could not cope with the sound effects and screams being so frikkin loud during battles. Can't hear the good music, cuz the battles interrupt the serene exploration atmosphere.
Also, it was really text heavy. Took forever to read about the side quests in Japanese, because the font was so small and unclear. Still, I think Xenoblade is the best traditional JRPG (pl...
I just bought a 5000yen card from www.nippon-yasan.com and it cost me 5800yen. That's almost as low mark up as www.solarisjapan.com has, but they didn't accept a direct credit card payment without Paypal (which is limited for me cuz of unnecessary business account verifications).
PSN Japan has an offer of 15 months of PS+ for 5200yen (43.5usd) so I thought I can pay some extra to get those three months before the offer closes. Also, they have a 20years PS+ lottery goi...
Damn! I completed this game 100% once. I got all the cars, did all the crazy challenges to unlock every last one of them. The Space invader thing, everything.
I just gotto say it: THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!! :))
Woah nice! Disgaea 4 and God Eater 2 for Vita, Killzone and Natural Doctrine for PS4. Damn, and I still haven't finished Yakuza Ishin, GTA V and Valiant Hearts! Got tons of games for Vita as well. Backlog is growing with good titles :)
Had Ico and Shadow of the Colossus remake like three times on JPN PS+, but finally we are getting some heavy hitters over here as well.
My sub just ended a week ago, but I'm going to buy another year tomorrow cuz of the...
Fair enough! At least you are talking about the game and how it is, and not about the fps or pixel x pixel per screen :)
Btw, I'm born in 1982 as well!
Cheers!
This is next-gen.
What's wrong with one world government? I studied political science and I really think that would be the best way to keep peace.
What happened to "The Crew has these new features" or "The Crew's map is xx square miles large". Where is that "In The Crew you can do this the first time ever in a car game!" or "The Crew has new interesting competitive online system".
Oh, I forgot! They were forgot between the "The Crew renders X amount pixels on screen and runs at X amount fps" and "PS4 and XOne parity!" headlines.
If you talk...
I take this with a grain of salt. If true, I will be very impressed by their rapid development, given that they had to create new assets and engine for PS4.
If there truly is a playable demo @ PS Exp, it could turn a lot of heads to purchase a PS4 this holidays for future prospective games.
I dunno, I sure can't beat Megaman 2 now, at least the way I did back in the 80s. Don't even get me started with Ghosts n'Ghoblins...
Gaming is about innovation, not about your latest shiny model airplane.
In the 80s and 90s there weren't really that many locked genres in gaming as there are today. Sure, there were types of games like "shoot-em up" or "Beat-em up", but it could mean anything. For example, an Amiga game called Awesome had shooting in three or four forms, plus modifying your spaceship and what not.
Now you always have FPS as it is, except with some fly...
Is it just me or did all the Sony executives get fatter recently? Maybe that money pouring in to the Playstation department thanks to PS4 and Vita sales is starting to show a little bit :D
