The first 3D Ninja Gaiden was an instant classic and has the quality of gameplay, atmosphere and music that matches some of the best action/rpg games ever made (the likes of God of War, first Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 4 and Dark Souls etc.) It is of my favourite games of all time. Made me truly feel like a ninja and not like those guys on youtube with nunchas!
I think NIntendo's future is in handhelds or hybrid consoles.

Hmm... so I could probably (if I get a permission!) use my wife's external USB 1.5TB HDD for Switch game storage. An extra 500 gigs would probably get me pretty far with Nintendo's game sizes. The biggest they can come up with is probably 40 to 50 gigs with the likes of Xenoblade 2 or the next Metroid and Zelda so that would give a good 10-20 exclusives worth of space.
The cost is not bad for the console either. Ten good exclusive games with average price of $40 per...

Yeah but Square didn't own Crystal Dynamics for too long. These guys at CD have been doing same types of games since the 80s and 90s. No wonder they excel in this type of design.
ROTR is a really good game, though. I think it is more interesting than U4, because of the RPG elements and Dark Souls-esque design. Some things I'd like to be more designed in TR, but they focused hardcore on the environments, and you can see that.

oh Okiesh, I didn't know that. Gotto do more research. I guess that won't give us a turn-based strategy FF game then in a while...World of Final Fantasy is really not doing it for me. I'm sick of the genre where all star cast from gazillion different worlds come together strangely and start their quest against the coolest boss of the series.

Probably have to dig back in FFXV today finally. The first 12hrs have been ok, I like the way the story is told a far, it's much more artistic than putting people in middle of dramatic events with their usual dramatic faces and plot twists.. I've been living abroad for a while and know how it feels when something bad happens at home, FFXV captures that feeling well, at least in the first dozen hours.
