But no PS4 Pro support... ghhh
Try playing Mega Man 2, Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania III, Ghost n Goblins and Battletoads on NES and let me know how you fare with them.
I'm a PS4 Pro guy now, but I will never forget my time with Nintendo. It was a great part of me and my friends' childhood after all.
Haha yeah! That was kinda too intimate to share. But hey what the hell, I had a bottle of wine and I'm happy :)
Forgive me for saying this, but people who do not understand video games as they are as an artistic medium, do not understand The Last Guardian. From the very first moment (I've only played the first 3 hours due to time limits as I'm moving from one country to another) it captured me and my Japanese wife. We almost cried together in awe and felt so lucky we could experience this together, the first three hours were such a journey. She even started calling me Trico and petting me like ...
This is exactly why we are moving back to Scandinavia from Japan with my wife. It's a great society here, but only for those who do not work here (3% of the people). I want eight hour days, a good salary and a great work/life balance. Fuck that boiler room work for the company and stockholders shit! It's not a good life.
With Pro and SSD it's actually pretty good. However, with this patch it will be super fast.
Can anyone confirm if the Pro support has improved here???
If Switch has good ports of WiiU's best games sold at around $20-40, might be worth buying. It has to be something really amazing in terms of gameplay, new IPs and old, graphics, portability etc. to win me over. Some games might be good for my wife, but even she likes to watch Dark Souls more than playing Mario. Portability is wayyy overrated for non-mobile games, I just don't take gaming seriously on a portable. Don't even touch my Vita, New 3DS or phone to game, so not really su...
Bought this on Black Friday sale $35, using $10 extra I got from Sony for buying a Pro. The update trailer sold it to me. I think it has enough features and stuff to do while waiting for the inevitable multiplayer update and Pro support. Maybe that will come in 2-3 months with 1.2 version.
The first two hours with the game were really interesting. I can see this thing getting stale for some people, but I like this kind of chill stuff. Really impressed positively!

Yeah, but Minecraft is a 5 years old game. This game has been out less than 4 months...
Oh fuck off gamingbolt! This is bullcrap.
Yeah but that is waiting for like 6 months to get a TV, as they launch in April/May/June time for 2017. Plus, if you can't got wrong with the KS7000, why not buy it?
Oh yeah! I just spent north of $300 in games in a month, excluding PS4 Pro and SSD drive. Bought in all three stores (US, EU, JPN): Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Bound, FFXV Digital Deluxe, The Last Guardian, Beyond: Two Souls, Xcom 2, Infamous 2nd Son + First Light (looks amazing on Pro), Witcher 3 GOTY, Dishonored 1 Remaster, Doom, Dear Esther and Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, Furi and Resident Evil HD Remaster. Prolly will add The Witness, Talos Principle, Inside...
Most games get updates and DLC that can fundamentally change the game for better, fix issues and add great features. A great example of this is Minecraft, which has lasted longer than a decade after its launch. If compared to movies, games go beyond the Director's Cut type of thing. Your opinion is not up to date with what the industry can offer. Games are incredible complex to create nowadays.
While I would agree with all the single player players here (I'm also always about character development, plot, story, lore, world immersion and deep gameplay), I'd positively single out some Co-Op experiences like Dead Nation and Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Demon's Souls which add to single player experience while being online.
If this is done like King's Field games, then it would be perfect for VR!!
Vita is my classic PSP, PSX machine + some jewel ps vita games like Persona 4 Golden and some other exclusives.
Was thinking of Darksiders 2 as well, maybe Shadow of Mordor too, just to test PS4 Pro. That $10 + 10% off basically got me Bound for free, which is nice as well! Do you guys know if this is the full line up or if there will be more coming in on Friday??
Aye, says "jikai housou" (next broadcast = stream) on 20th of Dec!
@Shin-Zantetsuken
Your purchasing strategy is not certainly a bad way to be, however, I would view PS4 Pro as very much a perfected PS4 product. They took their "perfected" design (including better power consumption, better cooling in the box, better yields on chips etc.) and supercharged it with a great balance and compatibility.
I'd say PS4 Pro, even at launch, is your perfected design of the PS4 right now and worth a buy at launch.
These systems should have been implemented from day 1. They change the core game aspects, and I'm not going to play a game twice, I just don't have time for it, and I don't think anyone in the working class normally does.
I do like FFXV, but at the same time I'm left wondering why even start playing a game like FFXV, No Man's Sky or even Dark Souls III on Day 1 when they all feel incomplete without the DLCs and patches.
I'm startin...
