Yeah I can't play my Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon on the Ally X today, so that's a no-go. Once they introduce Xbox emulation, and if I can rip my game CDs/DVDs that I have and play them via the emulation, that would be awesome. I've been holding on to those copies for 10+ years for this moment lol Not going to buy a Series X for those two games only... (already got the PS5 and PS3 for the full PS library and Switch, 3DS, Vita, and GameBoy Advance for legacy stuff. And a gaming PC...

I think he has done well for himself, wouldn't you think? Started from scratch, and become one of the biggest interactive media artists in the world over decades of hard work.

Just put Bazzite or SteamOS on the Xbox Rog Ally X or the original Rog Ally X and you'll have equal or better numbers than with the Switch 2. Battery life also improves with Linux.

I said I skipped Part II — didn’t buy it, didn’t play it, didn’t want to. So why am I suddenly on trial for it? Go figure.

I skipped Part II—can’t stand the combat. Even basic enemies take ages, and there are way too many fights. Add in the bloated, pointless side content and painfully asinine writing, and the first remake already felt like a total waste of time.

OK so this is a better game than Ghost of Yotei according to IGN. If I buy Baby Steps, I would be more wowed, moved, amused and having more fun than with Ghost of Yotei? Find that hard to believe...

Hmm, I think I could sell my PS5 with profit now and use the extra cash made to buy all the games on PC lol
There are some exclusives that I'd fully lose access to though, such as Bound, that I'd like to play with my daughter.

Nah, it's not worth it, that thing can just sit there and I can access all the catalogue. Too much hassle to write up an ad, pack the thing and send it. If they can just get a RDR2 60fps patch for the PS5 I'd be happy, but I g...

I wonder, maybe I should just move to GeForce Now Ultimate Tier next instead of buying another 2000 USD GPU in 2027. I could also invest into Wifi 7 infra on both my PC and equipment at home, which would probably be a pretty seamless experience with optic fiber 1gb connection.

If the ultimate tier would be average 30 USD a month (they are likely to increase the price), I could do 66 months or 5.5 years with the price of a new GPU. But in those 5.5 years, the GPU would be au...

100% this. TPM 2.0 is completely buggy on both Win 10 and 11, and AMD CPUs have a well reported bug and it makes the system instable or not to boot. I have also disabled mine, because I work on my PC. I don't play online games at all, and I have never ever cheated in a video game in my life as a gamer for 40+ years. I just want a stable OS !

Yeah, in 8 years at 120hz at 4K. That's a long time even for me to wait, although I have a backlog which would carry me through!

I absolutely loved TLOU II. I thought it was incredible, and will absolutely play it again. The game was extremely well written, and the performances were stunning. It was also very clever in showing both protagonists story, background and value-base.

Agreed, these games are essential for me and my wife. Easy to pick up and pause, but always absorbs you in the world. Dragon Quest is almost designed like a stress-release from real life!

Agreed, given his track record and in-depth research he puts into each project, not to mention writers and subject matter choices he makes, I would absolutely give Alex Garland a chance. I'm intrigued, and think he has a good chance of making this work.

How do I report articles like this? I don't want them in my feed, even the topics. It's embarrassing to browse gaming news in public and have headlines like this to pop up. I'm interested in games, not teenagers fantasies.

To me it was very close to The Last of Us Part I. It was that good quality.

Donkey Kong Bananza is actually double the size of the Mario Odyssey, so you can expect a large and comprehensive game.

2.4bn children in the world and you extrapolate from your own subjective sample of a couple of them? I mean come on, I thought we are past the feelings and in an era of science and data!

Netflix is data-based company (just like Amazon and Apple) where the customer insights and preferences determine the products, and eventually the topline and profitability. They have done very well with this model. I'm pretty sure the head of games has more data on trends available than...

Been here 15+ years in the last two decades and when I complain to taxi drivers about the foreigners and they always look at my white-ass face like I'm kidding, but soon realize I'm serious. Then we engage in a discussion on how foreigners certainly bring money here and increase the softpower of Japan, but also have the potential to ruin a lot of things. It's always a bit funny, but those of us who live here with a local family stuff like this is unforgivable.

I would guess open-world, more RPG mechanics while still keeping the survival horror roots. Building a longer campaign that may have multiple paths and endings, and possibly span across a few places rather than just one. Perhaps a choice in 1st person or 3rd person could be interesting as well. Would be interesting to play the bad guy, the monsters or vampires or intelligent zombies or what not as well, to have both the good guys and bad guys views on the story.

I hope they...

Clair Obscur is a French RPG. And many of the games are not JRPGs. Just sayin !
