Do you have one? None of your feedback sounds like it is actually based on time with the console, so it's not really the other side of any coin that you said you were offering. Just rings out like hollow rhetoric.
Why o why are there so many articles praising the Xbox One X? Are they taking the pee?
Fairly high profile games to be late to the party. Even more suspicious, Activsion released the Diablo 3 patch in no time.
POW instant ejaculation. Or at least I think that's what happened there. I don't really get American humour.
More vents isn't necessarily the best way to displace hot air. Poorly placed vents can interfere with intake of cool air and reduce the static pressure/air flow that is expelling the hot air.
Consoles being warm to the touch really isn't a problem, so long as that heat is being properly shifted away from the components that are generating it.
Yup, the Pro wins this round 1440p to 1800p. You must be overjoyed. 😂😂
Nice, though I'd say it is a surprise that the Pro isn't getting better results, more-so than any impressive feat for the X. D3 isn't all that taxing.
Still, it is a fun game in spats. I might pick up the Necromancer DLC.
You think that's good, you should have checked how much Sony accidentally listed it for on the UK store a couple of weekends back. I picked it up for a grand total of "absolutely free" :)
I don't doubt what you're saying at all. £10 is "might as well" territory though.
I've grabbed it, I don't honestly know when/if I'll get round to trying it. Through EA Access, Gamepass, and Windows crossbuy I've got a surprisingly lengthy list of enhanced games to play already. To top it off, the Horizon DLC is out now as well!
I suspect it'll see a little surge in sales from people looking for content for enhanced games for their new XBox One X. Being on sale for £10 while people are looking through that relatively limited catalogue of enhanced games will surely net a few purchases regardless of the quality of the game.
Speaking of which, Crytek should capitalise too with a Ryse patch. They could probably port it back from the PC release for minimal effort, and that game still looks stu...
Tis £10 in the sale at the moment. I guess I may as well give it a try.
Just a tiny fraction of the money they avoid paying in taxes to the countries they don't technically operate within.
Are you referring to the x86-64 architecture that the PS4 and Xbox One used, or are you referring to the unified GDDR memory pool that was used so effectively on the,... Xbox 360?
Ha ha Beanz is at this constantly. He's like the Energizer Rat that doesn't really get featured in their adverts, because the bunny is obviously more likable.
Texture filtering isn't really about draw distance. It is the way textures that are viewed at angles are cleaned up and displayed. And yes, it can make a huge difference. Especially so with good textures and high resolutions.
OR it is so much of a difference that you need to increase the zoom by 400% just to be able to display how much extra detail there is for people with displays that can't handle it in full screen.
400% isn't an exaggeration, if you were wondering. You literally need to zoom in 400% if you want to map the pixels properly on a 1080p screen.
Totally. I puked all over my wife. I... don't handle emotion well.
I was a bit alarmed by that too. Watch it pan a bit further and you see similar extreme stuttering on the Pro while the X is smooth though. In both cases I suspect (or at least hope) it is a problem with the way it is captured, rather than a real performance problem. Time will tell.
Of course it is not a "deal breaker". It is just a better looking version of the game. You can still play it on your base PS4 if you don't care about the visual quality.
Not a lie. I'm basing this on PC performance, where 4k60 was attainable when this game launched. It doesn't take a power house PC.
Obviously it isn't completely trivial to run as not even the X locks 4k completely. I just think the Pro could do better if Blizzard (or whoever handled the patch for them) really needed it too.
