Ahaaa you might actually be my favourite now.
What happens when you do see an official statement from the developer confirming that your information was false? I'm thinking something like leaving N4G forever would be good? You know, IF it turns out you are wrong.
Aha ha ha.
Shhhh.... Nobody say anything until it's too late for this joker to edit his comment.
Your comment lead me to check those out, and yeah I must say that's a substantial improvement.
Strange to say without it sounding like a dig, but Xbox One X is the best console to replay old games on lol.
Think you'll find that is the tagline for next console, when they need to 1-up "true 4k". You can imagine the words coming from Aaron Greenburg at least.
^^The hell are you talking about? Of course either Sony or Microsoft could "afford" 12GB RAM. They pass the cost onto the consumer. The Xbox One X is more expensive than the Pro.
Sony could have delivered a bigger upgrade at a higher price. They chose to target the same price point that worked so well for them with the PS4. Personally I think that was a mistake on their part, but it was definitely a deliberate choice and not an inability to do better.
It was mighty generous of Sony to give away a high-end PC free with every Playstation purchase. You should stop being so bitter.
You don't need to get rid of the Pro in order to have an Xbox One X.
Just make sure you leave it switched off, so the fan noise doesn't disturb your gaming :p
That's all well and good, but a 5400RPM drive can't even saturate the bandwidth of a SATAII connection. Increasing the bandwidth won't help seek and read the data if it isn't already the bottleneck.
Meh, it's not a huge problem. Just a minor blemish on an otherwise very impressive bit of kit.
Lol... the guy is saying the X isn't worth buying if you already own the base xbox one. Somehow I don't think the Pro would influence his opinion if he really believes that.
Not to piss on the positivity parade, but I do think the One X will offer some pretty painful loading times for people trying to play enhanced games. Reading those extra gigabytes of textures from the 5400RPM drive will take it's toll, even with the CPU improvements.
It's a shame they skimped on the drive again. At least we have the option of plugging in a decent external drive, but it'd be nice if the internal was up to the "premium" label.
Same. To quote myself (like a complete tosser):

I would always prioritise reducing the noise over reducing the size.
The One X has some genuinely impressive engineering behind it, being so small and packing relatively high clock speeds. If the single "large centrifugal fan" is a quiet performer then I tip my hat, but if it blows a storm I'll be a little disappointed.
__________...
The original Xbox One was very quiet, but then it was big enough to park a car in and featured very moderate clockspeeds.
The One X is taming a lot more heat, in a lot less space.
I've owned plenty of GPUs with vapour chambers that were still stupidly loud. A Vapour chamber is very effective in conducting heat, but you still need a strong fan to push that heat out of the system. So while the vapour chamber is a big part of what they've achieved, the engineering extends beyond that. The fan and the venting design must be top notch as well.
For the console to be so quiet with the clockspeeds and form factor it boasts is very impressive. I can...
Oh this is great news. This is literally the only bit of information I've been looking for in reviews as everything else worth knowing about the console is clear to see.
Fan noise has been my concern since the clockspeeds and form factor were revealed, and the few bits of feedback I've seen so far have been entirely positive.
Oh man you fell for that one pretty hard. Maybe if you ask the mods nicely they'll delete your comments, or grant you a change of account name.
The monitor market is truly frustrating at the moment. Hopefully this time next year things will have moved a big step forward.
Yeah the bit about ps5 (or whatever they choose to call it) being unnecessary are injected by the writer, and not how I'd interpret Yoshida's comments at all.
He's talking about the increased importance today of metrics like active users, not diminishing the role of future PlayStation hardware.
Lol. Are the videos available in higher resolution too? That'd be pretty sweet actually, but seems unlikely.
@Morgan "One of my people"? I'm not here to lead any people. Happy to join you in laughing at whomever said that. Though i think you can probably admit it isn't as funny as Tazzy here, so he's still gonna be my favourite.
