It was a pretty short comment to have that much wrong, so I've come to the conclusion that you are either extremely lazy, or have no point to argue at all.
400%. That's just how much you have to zoom in to properly map the pixels of a 4k display for anybody watching on a 1080p TV.
So much for 40% more powerful than the Pro. Teraflops are just one facet of the spec. Real world performance seems to place it at more like 100% more powerful.
Twice the power of the nearest competitor? I think that's more than most people anticipated, and suddenly the price point seems quite fair.
"Won't somebody think of the Xbox One owners?!!"
Lol. They'll be OK.
Erm...
Whale burger please?
I'm not stretching the definition of anything. It has a clear use, so I used the word correctly.
Even if it was "a simple HDMI switch", my Xbox One X would not be redundant until I had said switch would it? As it happens it'd need to be a simple HDMI switch, and a ~20m HDMI cable, and some clever way of controlling a PC that's in a completely different room. And even then, I'd be severely limiting the way my family can do things concurrently.

What makes you think they haven't held back the Xbox version? If it's locked at 4k then there could well be headroom for improvement.
Bungie didn't actually force resolution parity last time around anyway. If you recall, the Xbox One version was going to be 900p (and was 900p in the open beta) next to the PS4's 1080p. It was a last minute intervention from MS that brought the Xbox up to 1080p, Bungie never entertained bring the PS4 down to the X1 level.
If all other details are the same and the X just performs a mite better by virtue of the hardware handling the dynamic scaling then I'd call that parity in terms of development.
The PC version is obviously the ceiling at the moment. If the Pro and the X are both at the ceiling in terms of textures and effects then you can't grumble. Hopefully that is the case.
I had a little jaunt through the opening of the game. It definitely feels like it "fixes" the quite severe deficiencies with the base version, rather than being designed to show off high-end hardware in the way Gears 4 and Forza 7 do. Nice to play it the way it is meant to be seen. I wish the X could remove the visor though so I could see the art without so much UI obstruction.
Unfortunately after a bit of time with Destiny 2 auto-aiming for me, I can't aim fo...
24MB patch. I wonder what it was they cocked up?
I have 7.1.4 Atmos home theatre surround, and the Insect walkthrough is a better demo for it than the clips in the Atmos app. It is great to hear a carefully mastered Atmos track, but stepping between 7.1 and Atmos so that you can directly compare the difference is an eye-opener. Ear-opener? Whatever, it makes the difference very apparent.
It'd be nice to think devs would do it "for the fans", but I don't think this game was a smash hit and the devs may not have that luxury. They may need to do things for the money, or not at all.
If new games start shipping with features missing from some platforms and not others it'd be a bigger concern. Fortunately we're not really seeing that at so far, and both the Pro and X look like they're doing well enough that it won't play out like...
^^ Based on what?
Here are some benchmarks from 2012 when the game released:

Unfortunately 4k isn't benched, but at 1600p the GTX 680 and the Radeon 7970 both run the game at 108fps. It is a quite safe assumption that either card could run 4k60 or there abouts. Stands to reason a single R9-290 would smash 4k60 (and ...
So the One X is at some points 100% faster than the Pro. The same 100% increase is seen in Diablo 3's dynamic resolutions as well.
So much for the difference being the same as the base PS4 vs One comparisons...
I've used both. Unsurprisingly, I've never managed to get them to upgrade my monitor to make it capable of displaying a wider colour gamut and better contrast.
HDR is not a software trick...
Microsoft are really confident about the Xbox One X because they paid for an enhancement to Mafia 3? Blimey, it's no wonder Sony are so far ahead lol.
That's not even close to the same thing.
The Insects thing is a great way to showcase 4K, HDR, and Atmos. It very effectively expels any doubts that each one has a big impact.
Nah I really don't think that's true.
