This is a good way to alienante your already limited fanbase 🤷♂️
If the REALLY can not afford to do a free upgrade, I would be more likely to pay a $5 "Next Gen License fee" than being forced to pay for the Ultimate edition.
Makes me sad because Remedy makes competent games that sadly don't seem to sell particularly well and this won't help.
This might be one of the best examples yet that you can't just throw money at the problem 🤷♂️
The game looked extremely mediocre and unfinished, so it's good news that it's been delayed (I'm guessing until late 2021).
But how can Microsoft brag about their 12 Teraflops now? Certainly not with the games they've shown so far.
The launch looks like an absolute trainwreck....people keep talking about GamePass, b...
I mean, the game was clearly not ready to be released.....but what were they thinking when they showed it like that?
Will this game be better in one year? It's hard to know while keeping the Xbox One version.
Microsoft promised to make Halo a launch title....and also that developing for Xbox One wouldn't affect the quality of the game.
It's all a mess. What exactly is making gamers buying their new system this year?
If it actually exists, Microsoft is doing a very poor job introducing their XBox line to the average consumer.
For people who don't care about specs/gaming news.....what happens when they see that they can buy an Xbox One, One S, One S Digital Edition, One X, Series X and possibly a Series S?
Will they really understand what they are? Will they even care? It's not like the One X set the world on fire sales wise.
Those Silent Hill Pachinkos must be selling well 🙄
Nintendo just announced that they sold and insane 22 Million copies of animal crossing.
We know as a fact that tons of people bought a Switch play that game locking them to Nintendo's Ecosystem.
Same happens with many major franchises like God Of War, Final Fantasy, The Last of Us, etc.
Will the new Halo sell series X? Probably not since you can play it on Xbox One, One S and One X....plus PC, and smartphones.
Of...
The moment Microsoft stopped releasing hardware sales it was clear they were trying to change the narrative.
I never understand that logic 🤔
I pre-ordered my PS4 and Switch....now people are fighting to buy a Switch, 3 years later and still paying $300.
I've used my PS4 for 7 years so I'm totally happy to preorder a PS5 while my friend complains because she just bought a PS4....you shouldn't have waited 7 years!
Such a stupid article 🙄
It's like some struggle to understand that people can be complicated.
Why would they trust Microsoft again? They worked a lot on that game and it was suddenly cancelled by Microsoft (who also owns the IP)
They are not likely to support new single player IP's.....they are mostly focused on games as a service now.
Curious about their PS4 plans! There's still tons of titles coming and it's good to see we are getting an update (same with PSVR).
I love that they made it CLEAR that they won't announce PS5 release details to avoid drama and disappointment.
40 minutes? I'm ready 🔥
Not surprised.
Sega has so much potential! Yet, little is done.
They've had some success with games like Yakuza or Persona (published by Atlus).
Sonic deserves better, Virtua Fighter deserves better, Ghost of Tsushima is the Shinobi we deserve, House of the Death VR? A sequel to Rez Infinite?
At least Nintendo rescued Bayonetta.
The build was "several weeks old"?
Hopefully in "several weeks" the game that has been in development for years stopped looking like a 360 remaster 🙄
I am honestly curious but they reviving a franchise is not easy. For every God of War there's 20 games that didn't live up to their potential.
Specially for a franchise that has been dormant for years.
Also pretty sure this game was announced WAY to early....probably a 2023~ release.
That's how low the bar is at this point?
They have to confirm that their flagship IP will release with multiplayer?
(Now that we know that Ray Tracing will be a patch a few months after launch, that Avowed is planned for 2023, Forza is early in development, Fable is likely years away).
Why exactly do we need a Series X this year or even next?
Now they're saying that Avowed is a 2023 release 🙄
And I imagine Fable to take years as well.
At least we got the Halo Infinite memes....
Well, if that's the case it might be decent 3 years after it releases 😅
And by then, nobody will care.
Sony deserves credit for releasing so many amazing first party titles during the PS4 era.
They also released a great amount of new IPs while completely renovating old favorites like God of War.
Looking forward to their new games on PS5 🔥
It's all about clear expectations. I
This game should have released on XBox One this year (nobody would be complaining). Then say "it will run and play better on Series X".
That would be honest and realistic....but that's not what they did. They hyped their 12 Teraflops and promised graphics that would destroy current gen hardware.
Then that demo came...then the memes....then the apologies and PR responses.....now they...
They should've delayed it without showing it in such a mediocre state. If they had just said "You know what, we need to make sure it's perfect and the best Halo ever so we need more time" the reaction wouldn't be nearly as bad.
Showing an ultra crappy build after a solid 2 years of hyping it as a game that would set a new standard (now fans saying "Halo has never been about flashy graphics" is laughable).
It will affect the...
