Seems like it's extremely early in development....and this is Microsoft we are talking about, so it might never actually happen or be a mess.

That demo looked mediocre. I thought it was running on Xbox One and that they would suddenly say "Ok, now take a look at the Series X version".
That never happened.
I felt it was very mediocre.
Halo underwhelmed....and it had to be a home run. Everything else was just meh.
Microsoft creating this mess (again) by overpromising.
You can't hype 12 Teraflops, 4K, 120 FPS, etc.....only to show up with a game with pop-in, mediocre textures, shadow glitches and last gen animations.
Nothing about that demo felt Next Gen....not a thing.

So curious about their first party lineup. People seem to be overhyping tons of titles from studios that generally release average titles.
Or even studios that are yet to release a single game 🤷♂️
And it's not like the Xbox One had the best 1st party library.....
It will be interesting to see how the launch of the PS5/Series X goes.
Seems like the first time that it will be mostly an online battleground since retailers are likely to remain closed/limited by then.
Also the Switch seems to be sold out virtually everywhere and not likely to improve anytime soon.

That's exactly my point. If Series S is indeed $199 (I doubt it), how much will the One S retail for?
It still has a 4K Bluray Drive and other relatively expensive parts....it's not like they can sell it for $99.
Also if Series S exists, it is likely due to the fact that Series X is far from the $399 next gen "sweet spot".

Xbox One S, (Xbox One X and One S digital edition discontinued but still available), Lockhart and Series X.

They don't care about $60 games because they barely make games for that market.
