Hopefully that includes actual Next-gen game footage running on final hardware 🙄
I think one of the "problems" with the Zelda franchise is that is not really attracting a ton of new players.
Let's be honest, if you skipped BOTW chances are you will skip the sequel....not sure we're the extra 22 million will come from 🤔
Funny how we've seen everything except for Next Gen gameplay running on final hardware 🙄
I don't think the system will be the success on Japan that Microsoft is pretending it will be.
Currently a PS5 preorder here in Japan sells for an average of $1,800. Series S preorders started at $600....now down to $380 meaning that demand is clearly not there and scalpers are starting to panic.
I guess they're not concerned about quality anymore either. When was the last time that a title that LAUNCHED in GamePass got scores over 90?
After seeing that heatsink I believe the rumors that the Series X might run ultra hot 🥵
In Japan they are sold out everywhere but I managed to get a preorder. The price is very agreeable and since I will probably continue to spend a LOT of time home due to the pandemic, at least I will have new gadgets 😒
It will be interesting to see what kind of information we get once the NDA expires.
In Japan the day preorders went up, it reached $4,000 on Amazon (though it seems like the posts were taken down).
The average price now is $1,700 USD around here for "preorders".
I'm curious about the Series S around here. People started reselling it for $600 but now the price is around $400 (only around $80 higher than the official price).
It's ridiculous. They need to be held accountable.
If I want to play the Mario 3D Collection, my only option is to used my Hori SplitPad pro....otherwise, the crappy joysticks from the Joycons are completely unable to make Mario move in a straight line.
I hope this will eventually work well. I have insanely fast internet and my experience with multiple streaming services has been mediocre at best.
When it works it's great, but easily 30% of the time it's just problems and frustration.
It's hard to know without knowing how many units they had available.
I tried just to check and I was able to add to my cart a Series X from Amazon Japan and a Series S from the Microsoft stores.
I didn't actually buy them (already pre-ordered a PS5) but Microsoft is not popular in Japan.
When the PS5 launched....EVERY site crashed immediately. With the Xbox I didn't expect any issues.
Even with Bethesda, they don...
I'm watching Microsoft's live Tokyo Game Show Stream.
They say that Xbox has grown 80% in Japan this year.
So they probably have dozens of players now 😅
Not sure what the situation is in every country.
In my case living in Japan, I sold my copy of Spiderman PS4 for around $20....with that money I upgraded my copy of Miles Morales to Ultimate edition so I can have the best version of the original game.
I loved the first, so I will eventually play it again (once I'm done with Demon's Souls).
The whole preorder for both systems has been a mess.
Games are more popular than ever and since they won't hold release parties in stores, the battleground is 100% online.
Not to mention that with most people working from home, anyone can spend 30 minutes at 10:00 fighting for a new system.
In Japan EVERYTHING is sold out. You can't even get a PS4/Pro at a decent price now...and good luck finding a Switch.
There certainly must be another way.
I remember buying tickets for the Harry Potter play in London a few years back that the site had a brilliant virtual queue.
Instead of the site just crashing and being a mess, you waited patiently.
I got exactly what I wanted even with thousands of people hitting the site at the same time.
I managed to get my PS5 preorder through Amazon but it was a MESS and most people I know fail...
Yikes...what we expected but not pretty (and also proprietary, so prices likely will stay high for a while).
Hopefully Sony's will be cheaper in a few months 🤷♂️
I guess they will keep throwing money at the problem 😅
Never played the original but the last trailer finally convinced me to preorder. It looks really great and I love what Bluepoint has done with other remakes.
Can't wait for November 12!
So.....there's no next gen games coming at launch, and old games look marginally better?
Maybe that's why they are really pushing Game Pass....it's really all they got this year to try to justify buying a Series X 🤷♂️
Why exactly should Xbox users get this? Specially owners of the One X?
