Nintendo went back to HUGE gaps between big releases, mostly poor 3rd party support, etc.
The Switch has had:
Some GOTY AAA titles: Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, Smash Bros.

I remember playing the game and being blown away specially by the animations. The way they connect is so seamless!
For example: jumping from the top of a car and landing a physical attack on a clicker.
Easily a generation ahead any other game I've played.
Their pachinko machines will be missed....

I bought Miles Morales and Demons Souls full price because I knew the quality was there.
More and more games release full of glitches and months of patches (Cyberpunk?). It's understandable to wait a few weeks to get a better version of the game $30 cheaper.
I'll believe it when I see it. Their biggest release of the year has been a WiiU port for $60.
I think it's actually a very good service. I just bought a 15 months for $49.
I love that now you can download many titles instead of streaming.

Personally I don't think it's reasonable for Sony to put their big AAA exclusives there day one....but maybe a sistema similar to Disney Plus?

Why wasn't this announced during the state of play? It's like they intentionally wanted it to be underwhelming.
The last few Nintendo Directs have been massive disappointments too....and Microsoft basically announces that they bought more studios, not actual playable games.
It seems like big releases get their own videos and deep dives these days.
Honestly this would have been decent if they hand included the PSVR2 "in development" teaser and something from Horizon.
