Bleeding edge was a mess and never got any traction.
Honestly curious about Hellblade 2 now that it's a Microsoft Exclusive. I guess the expectations are different since it will be free with GamePass.
I hope they actually advertise it and make sure it's ready to launch.
We can wait.
This game really has a lot of potential so they should make sure they have enough time to get it right. They are a small studio and this game looks bigger than anything they've released so far.
Just finished the demo....extremely underwhelming 🤷♂️
I was not expecting a revolution, but certainly expected better than this. The graphics are crap on PS5 (like a clean PS3 game with tons of pop-up). The gameplay is extremely generic and so are the levels.
It is sad because you can see the potential. The boss battles feels Mario-ish without any of the polish....and Balan is relatively charismatic.
But the game really feels l...
After all the drama about next gen upgrades, this game is available for free on PS Plus this month?!?
I'm here for it since I never bought it, but it seems like a controversy that could have been avoided 🙄
Really a great month! I will definitely play all 3 games 👏👏👏 28079;
So you literally found the ONE review over 85 and ignored all the reviews under 50.
Sounds reasonable.
"Best Exclusive so far"......it's the only exclusive so any title could claim that 🙄
Microsoft really needs to do a better way curating content and commiting to new IPs.
They hyped this game as a 90+ game....and it's clearly not.
I agree.
I played this game with the Pulse Headset and I constantly found myself TERRIFIED of sounds and noises coming from all directions.
The sound design of this game is truly remarkable.
This game was clearly not ready to be released and anyone expecting it to run well on PS4/Xbox one in the next few weeks is dilusional.
At this point I will be surprised if they manage to fix the streaming issues at all.
Definitely waiting for the native PS5 version to see if it fares better.
Curious to see how it turns out.....but it is a stretch to say that just because they delayed a game that was clearly not ready, suddenly Microsoft has fixed the many problems that have plagued their first party studios for years.
Mediocre titles (Crackdown 3), Bizarre cancelations (Scalebound), lack of innovation (Gears), unfinished releases (Sea of Thieves), overpromising (the power of the cloud).....the list goes on and on....
It's really sad when ...
They always announce their games WAY too early.... it's like they have a few meetings to discuss the concept and then announce it.
Make me sad because I like their games, it's just hard to get excited knowing that they might be years away.
Just played it and I was surprised at how good it looks.
Definitely the youtube stream did NOT do the game any justice.
As a PS5 and Switch owner, my Switch has been ignored for months 🤷♂️ mostly indies and old re-releases for $60.
There's too many to count.
A high budget Jak and Dexter would be great (same with Sly Cooper).
Definitely a new Resistance would be great.
Motorstorm?
Even a proper Heavenly Sword reboot would be amazing if done well.
I'm surprised about the lack of updates mostly for The Last Guardian and Bloodborne. They both had some Framerate issues and it seems like the PS5 would be able to fix it with raw power alone (as seen by the unpatched version of TLG).
Currently waiting before I finally try Bloodborne.
It was very smart of her to focus on consoles. Unlike mobile processors that become obsolete within months, consoles keep using the same chips for years.
Look at the Switch still rocking an ancient Tegra for $300.
It was a mistake to announce that the Next Gen patch would take more than 6 months 🤷♂️
Why pay 30 now if I can just wait and get a proper PS5 version for $20 or even less down the road?
As a PS5 owner, I don't feel like playing the last gen version with tons of glitches even at half price.
According to official numbers, Sony was able to produce way more PS5's than PS4's at launch. Honestly remarkable given the current conditions.
I live in Japan and it is IMPOSIBLE to get (I got lucky with Amazon) but at least it launched here at the same time. The PS4 was about 4 months late.
Did we expect it to be shown there? Literally the first time I hear about a "Taipei Game Show" 🤔
Mostly concerned that it might be yet another release trapped between generations: too ambitious to run well on base, last gen and not able to fully embrace next gen hardware.
