There were a ton of great original Xbox games.
They own all the Rare IP's, which could easily be remade. Conker Live And Reloaded is a game tons of people want to see. Crimson Skies, Brute Force, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Fable, Panzer Dragoon, Shenmue 2, Toejam And Earl 3, Voodoo Vince, Blinx had a couple of solid games.

Actually its not the same engine from 2007. Your talking about the Quake source code that was there in Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, since that time the Quake code has been totally removed from every Call Of Duty title.

Who published the report saying hardcore gamers don't own a Kinect or like them? I personally don't believe there is a such thing as a hardcore or casual gamer.
At the end of the day there are just gamers to me, some just might enjoy a different genre or different game than you might. I'd like to know who's research went into finding out if so called "hardcore" gamers have a Kinect or use it.

Sounds cool, I have the first Joyride, its quite fun for what it is. Although you can pretty much get the same game from Forza 4 and it offers a ton more to do, both with a standard controller or wheel and or Kinect.

Microsoft hasn't stopped investing in hardcore exclusives, its the end of the Xbox 360's life cycle and so they shifted focus more towards the end of the cycle in order to keep selling consoles after the next one has launched. All of Microsoft's top franchises are core as far as I'm concerned.
I think its pretty clear Microsoft and Sony are going to have higher ended consoles than the Wii U will be.

Well I managed to put 150 hours into Skyim and 40+ in Mass Effect 3 and L.A. Noire recently.

I agree that it would be nice for everyone to be able to play it, but I'm realistic about it. It looks as if the developers have moved on to two separate next generation projects and they are a small company.

I guess it depends on your setup, I hear the Witcher 2's graphics for the Xbox 360 are medium to good settings on a PC.
I know people here like to act like every PC gamer has a killer rig, the reality is not very many do. I remember when they were showing original Battlefield 3 footage and there was an article saying that less than 1% of PC owners actually had a PC that could run it the way it was supposed to be run.
Didn't help that the Saturn was so complicated to program for at the time. A lot of truly hardcore gamers really love the Sega Saturn and it was impressive and had a nice library of games.
And the next PlayStation is believed to lock out used games and include a Kinect like sensor as well.
Anyone can speculate, doesn't make it right.

I never even finished GTA4, for some reason it started getting really boring about 15 hours into it. Is it me or does Rockstar not like giving Achievements on their game? It seemed like I couldn't get any. 15 hours and 35 Gamerscore is crazy bad.
Not saying that is the sole reason I gave up, I just wasn't digging it the way I liked the other GTA games.

I actually think they could have added some Kinect elements to Gears 3, the submarine part, which is totally on rails, could have easily been useable with Kinect. Voice controls and a ton of other things could be implemented.

I have a 320 gig HDD with my Gears Of War themed Xbox 360 and I rarely install any games and never have any issues. One of the things I like about using the Xbox 360 is the fact that there aren't mandatory installs.
I'd rather switch 5 disks than install games for an hour before even being able to play through it.

I think this is why we are mostly flooded with sequels and things like that instead of new IP's. The fact is that new IP's don't do as well as existing franchises now.
Look at BulletStorm 2 getting canned, that was an interesting new IP in my opinion, but it didn't end up making any money.
Its a shame that we are so afraid of new things in the gaming industry.
