I'm pulling for Johnson, because he'll have a monster year and I know Newton wont. If Newton wins and has a sophomore slump people will try to blame that retarded Madden curse BS.

This is the thing, Nintendo hasn't even been associated with the idea of locking out used games. They won the current generation easily. I don't think Sony or Microsoft would dare risk being the only console to lock used games, it would be catastrophic for the one that did lock them out.

Since none of these companies are going to talk beforehand, I don't think we have to worry about this issue right now. Sure its what the companies ultimately want, but I think the...

Get over it, people have been stalked and things like this happen before Xbox Live, its called the internet.

Milo was a simulation, kind of like Kinectimals, if people with sick minds want to think that way then let them. Its not like you could do sick things with Milo, more like a virtual friend, which is kind of interesting and I could see kids really enjoying something like that.

Bottom line is that people can avoid these types of situations altogether, no...

Well some of the tech heavy group might be a bit impatient, but I could go either way. I know I would get a next gen console right away, but a lot of my family and friends wouldn't be able to.

Also, launch games have a habit of not taking advantage of a systems hardware and a lot of the launch games are games that were pushed to the newer systems rather than developed specifically for them.

I wouldn't mind waiting, I mean when you look at launch game...

I still think Halo is a system seller, always has been.

Some people who might not own a 360 could be enticed by a new HD Halo game featuring Master Chief.

Whenever a Halo game is released Microsoft always gets a nice bump in console sales as well. There could even be a special edition console that I could see selling really well.

The Wii decline isn't mere saturation, as the PS1 and PS2 have proven in the past, its that Nintendo jumped ...

Probably just some background guys or something, its cool when fans of the games make it into the games they love though.

I remember when I heard the cast from Firefly were going to be in Halo ODST, I was so stoked. It turned out amazing and it was cool having those guys in that type of role.

Halo 4 baby!

I think the Xbox Live Arcade is a step above everything else, they seem to be getting these insanely amazing arcade titles that are larger and more fun than a lot of the full retail titles these days.

Glad they upped the Achievements to 400 as well for these kinds of titles, this is an amazing game!

There isn't a lot of games that are interesting the majority right now. I think if Sony announces God Of War 4 for later this year, the PS3 will sell more for that game, same with Halo 4 and the Xbox 360. I also expect a price cut from Microsoft for the Xbox 360 and Kinect because its been 3 or 4 years since we've seen one.

Nintendo kind of screwed themselves with the Wii U announcement last year. How could they have not known people would stop buying a current Wii in...

Battlefield 3 was bad, Dice cannot make a game that I enjoy, I have high hopes for this new Medal Of Honor game now that Dice is hands off.

So you think Activision is going to leave hundreds of millions of dollars on the table and not publish a game that will end up selling 20+ million copies? Not gonna happen.

Halo and COD are vastly different games and are geared at vastly different types of gamers. I think people don't understand how rabid Halo fans can be and how much people want to play as Master Chief again.

I'll be picking up both, so problem solved. I don't see this as an issu...

Its two totally different games, Call Of duty, while fun, is a twitch shooter at its core, while Halo is a game that takes a bit more skill.

One is more realistic and one is space marines. I like the fact that Microsoft is going up against COD. I'll be buying both, but I like that Microsoft is doing what so many other companies are afraid to do, even EA with their Battlefield 3 game.

Halo isn't a small franchise and the return of the Chief cant be un...

COD is still the most played game, not sure they are losing anyone. Dice/EA is doing the same exact thing as Activision with Call Of Duty.

There are two separate dev teams making COD games, each game is on a two year cycle, just like Battlefield and Medal Of Honor games. There is absolutely no difference.

I really wish Activision would have dropped the "Call Of Duty" moniker from the Modern Warfare series like they originally intended. The MW and B...

It will sell because it is Call Of Duty, the ones who were disappointed with MW3, like myself, will buy it hoping that its better. Lets not forget the people who will be buying their first COD game ever.

People act like everyone is so sick of COD or has been playing it from the beginning, which isn't the case. Each new edition seems to bring in a ton of new people.

I'll be buying it, looks like Halo 4 is coming out around the same time and so my wall...

Dang! The best just keeps getting better. All I need is to hear about a Legendary edition so I can pre-order that.

Well when all is said and done it'll easily surpass a million copies, also all of the consoles its pushed out the door.

Star Wars fans bought the console like crazy, its not like the game was AAA or cost a ton to make, so it definitely made profit.

It doesn't take a hundred million to properly promote a game.

I'm sure Microsoft is more then happy with the results so far.

You are such a troll, Microsoft will capture the core audience the same way next generation as they did this one.
Microsoft is the only company to currently offer a premium online service, people will continue to flock to that to fulfill their gaming needs.

How is Halo not selling like it used to? Arguably the newer Halo games are outpacing the original Halo games by a large margin. With Master Chief back in the picture and the huge marketing campaign to match, you ...

@steverhude
I'm sure this has been said a ton around here already. Kinect has built in voice recognition, programmers don't really have to do anything to make Kinect work with it.

For a game to have standard mic support with voice recognition, it needs to be coded from the start, which is impossible since the game is already out.

I've played games like Endwar, which were TERRIBLE with voice commands and didn't work. Even the original ...

I wouldn't get your hopes up on that one, they are a small team and are already working on two next generation games at the same time.

5061d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

They cant go independent since Microsoft owns them, also, How is it a waste of talent just because they are putting out Kinect titles to help launch a device that Microsoft has invested a ton of money into?

If Sony had fully supported the Move, maybe it wouldn't be in the shape its in now.

Rare has done amazing things this generation, Viva Pinata 1&2, Banjo Kazooie Nuts And Bolts, Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo and Kinect Sports 1 and 2, all of these games ...

I have had two copies pre-ordered at Gamestop since last year, now I'm just waiting on the obvious Collectors Edition, never had a Halo without one.
