I like how the title states Xbox 360, but in the actual article it says.
"Government researchers have said they’re interested in the potential consoles like the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 have in aiding law enforcement efforts."
Just for those paranoid Xbox 360 owners, there is an option to turn OFF data collection on your Kinect. Its quite simple and then you don't have to worry about "The Man" spying on you.....
Nice comeback kiddo. You accuse me of being someone else, yet ignore everything I said.
Well played, well played indeed.
I'll take that as a win in this debate, when the opposition cant even work up a rebuttal you know you've done something right.
I know when someone is just trolling or making things up, anytime you want to prove you have a Kinect shoot me a message here and I'll send you my XBL Gamertag and we'll work things...
I don't think Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo want to risk being the only ones that wont allow used games, and since they wont talk to each other beforehand, I think its a safe bet that we wont see anti used game tech used in the next generation.
I'd get ready for every game to have online passes though, that is for certain.
I'm curious as to where you get your numbers from, because I've been able to find no official numbers for anything that your saying.
I bought all the games you listed and for the most part like them all.
The only numbers I could find that were legit were the ones saying Kinect Sports was like at 4+ million and Dance Central was over 2 million.
I also saw something recently saying Fruit Ninja Kinect had over 1 million downloads.
Honestly I think its worth it. You can find them for like $99 and I'm sure the official price will drop down to that this year full time.
The reason I personally believe its worth it is because I've gotten a solid amount of use from it. I own the following Kinect titles and with the exception of a couple of them, I've had an absolute blast.
1.Kinect Sports 1 and 2
2.Dance Central 1 and 2
3.The Gunstringer
4.UFC Trainer
5.Chi...
Well from the original gameplay shown at E3 for Sorcery a couple of years ago the game has totally been redone from what I understand. it also sports around a 6 hour campaign now.
Originally the game was supposed to be dark, gritty and violent and now its very generic looking and kid friendly. If its good than its good, I'm hoping its good personally because I'll be buying it.
As for the trolling in the Kinect Star Wars review threads, it was flat out...
Just get a PSP and mod it to play these games. I have the entire collection on my PSP. I can also play Genesis, SNES, NES and Turbo Graphics 16 games on it.
Well the first one was more of a traditional RPG, there are more upgrades and investigation options and the overall experience and story were better.
They streamlined it too much and made ME3 have the smallest crew, the fewest choices and the fewest paragon and renegade choices of all the games.
I admit I bought a Move because of this game back at E3 a couple of years ago, but to me its shaping up to be the "Kinect Star Wars" of the Move.
Now don't get me wrong, I am actually finding Kinect Star Wars to be fun, but I feel that Sorcery is going to end up getting average scores and we'll see a ton of trolling in every single review the way we've seen the Kinect Star Wars ones.
I'm not loving the box art or how different the g...
Thankfully they aren't changing the ending, because that would have made major ripples through the industry and we would have seen non stop complaints about every games ending that people didn't like.
Clarify the ending a bit, elaborate on it a bit and call it a day.
I personally didn't have a problem with the ending or endings of ME3. I thought overall the game wasn't as good as ME1 or ME2, but that is what I call the EA effect.
Maybe Microsoft is wanting to really go full on future proof next generation. I think its smart for the console makers to make these next consoles with a 6-10 year life cycle in mind.
I think we'll see a couple different SKU's from Microsoft, they really like the $399 price point, but I could see a premium console in the $499 or $550 price range.
I think Microsoft has done a lot to establish themselves this generation and taking a loss for a couple o...
Sucks that the game is still so broken on the PS3. Everyone should get the chance to play this gem.
Hopefully next generation the PS4 will be easier to work with and have similar architecture to the Xbox 720 so both consoles can get equal 3rd party games.
There is a game mode with a dance portion that is set up like Dance Central. It wasn't my favorite mode, but the rest of the game was pretty fun.
Loved the story elements behind Jedi Destiny and the Duels Of Fate mode was pretty sick as well.
I am not sure this will happen, first of all, neither Sony or Microsoft will want to be the first to do this. Since they don't know what the other is doing, it could potentially kill off that console if one were to do it and not the other.
Secondly, Nintendo is a dark horse. I don't believe Nintendo has come out against used games. So you could end up with a company coming out with this and them being the only ones. It'll be a long generation for that particular c...
You've never heard anyone say that C-3PO was homosexual before? I've hear it quite often and even in pop culture shows like The Simpsons.
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Clearly C-3PO is a stereotypical homosexual who is afraid of everyone and everything and he is very prissy. I'm not saying I think that way, I'm just saying when I first saw Star Wars years and years ago I was a ...
I said this before and I'll say it again, reviewers went into this expecting it to be a disaster. If you go into something expecting it to suck, guess what? It's going to suck.
We had the fake demo at E3 a couple of years ago, people are quick to point that out, but people don't mention those horrid CGI trailers for Killzone 2 back years ago.
I guess its okay for one and not the other.
Secondly, people are paying way too much atte...
I have my copy reserved for the Xbox 360. Hopefully that adds a couple more million to the total.
Glad they are moving to some new AAA next gen titles after the release on the 360 though, I'm dying to see what these guys can do with new hardware.
Sweet! That one gets saved for sure.
Don't think there is any doubt that Halo 4 will be the biggest exclusive game of 2012.
So glad they are continuing on with Master Chief, I mean I liked Reach, but those characters were no Chief.
I truly believe Microsoft had Bungie do Reach so that 343i could do the story with Halo 4, both were in production around the same time, but I think fans would have hated Reach had 343i did it.
Now they...
Why bother to improve anything? You have the NFL license and so its a monopoly and people will just buy it because its the only game in town.
For one thing, I'm not paranoid. There are 20 million Kinect's hooked up in the world and I cant begin to imagine the size of the crew needed to spy on people.
This article isn't even about spying or anything like that. I'd imagine things would get pretty boring for someone trying to see what someone was up to through a Kinect or PS Eye.
