I am 100% confident in Microsoft and Xbox Live, its one of the reasons I pay for Live. I've never had any issues and I don't know a single person who has.

Sony didn't hack their own network, but they lacked proper security and part of that could be from a lack of funding because they offer it for free.

Well the Dreamcast was really ahead of its time, if it had a DVD player Sega might still be in the console market.
Also, at that particular time, Sony had huge brand loyalty and could really do no wrong. People were actually willing to hold off and not get a game system, in order to get a PS2.

A hack, which is what happened to the PSN last year is something totally different then "Phishing". Phishing is something that Microsoft has no control over, people have to be smart and check to see what they are logging into.

COD isn't using an ancient engine, its not the Quake Engine and doesn't feature any Quake coding anymore.

Tell that to 75% of the games that are developed now days. Battlefiled, Killzone, Resistance, Halo are all 30fps.
I'm not one of those people that says COD hasn't changed its looks, it obviously has. I would much rather have 60fps at this point and time then some drastic change at the end of the console life cycle.
