What do you expect? In America they dumbed down the educational system. They dumbed down the SATs. Students take remedial reading courses in college. But every student has great self-esteem.
They had to do the same to the intelligent RPG so the Halo boys don't have to read so much and worse yet, remember what they read. I miss the good old days.
But they already told us we should be happy because there will be more DLC than DAO. That's supposed to make up for a 33% decrease in playtime.
This would have been more helpful if the offer didn't expire yesterday.

If you want to develop a game that is good enough to sell to the mass market and your business plan can't justify $4500 for a development environment you probably ought to just play games other people write instead of trying to write your own. You aren't ready for prime time.
A good software engineer in this country makes $80K - $150K a year. The development environment wouldn't have to save too many engineering hours to be worth the money.
First I wanted the game because I loved the first one. Then I didn't want the game because it was going to be geared toward consoles. Then I played the demo and thought maybe I wanted the game again. Then I read this and think they don't deserve my business even if only for trying to say more dlc is a good thing.
If it had been released on PC first I would have bought it but now I feel like I'd be buying an old game that got crappy reviews. It was never the game it claimed to be anyway.
Sony is thinking of how much money they can make if they port Uncharted and their other first party games to the 360 and the Wii. - and of course their NGP games to the 3DS so they will actually sell some. ^^

Why do I remember the DS version looking so much better than this? I was all set to get the PSP version thinking that the graphics would be even better than the DS but now I'm thinking - ahhh not.

Earlier today I dug out an old gamecube copy of Zelda Windwaker and loaded it into the wii hooked to a 47 inch LED display with HDMI upscaling and absolutely loved the look of the game and music that I heard. Graphics don't need to approach reality to be beautiful. I have all three systems and I don't think there is a game I enjoy more on any of them.
If the Nvidia and AMD could only release a new generation every 5-7 years I don't think they could stay in business. I hate buying PC Graphics Cards frequently, but without that happening not much progress would be made because not much money would be made.
What would be the cost of a new console if it had to completely support graphics hardware development?
Didn't anybody from Sony ever watch the Sopranos? They could save a boatload of $$ buy hiring Tony to take care of the hackers and I'm pretty sure it would send message to the others that wanna mess wit da hardware...
Methinks it must be better than the first one since sucking on a dirty sock would be a more fulfilling experience than playing the first one.
I was going to buy it but once I read that they put effort into multi-player and even devoted a significant part of the world to multi-player I knew not bother with it. It may be okay but it is money and programmer time that could have been used to improve the single player. Pass for me.
Let's just hope that when they "westernize" it they resist the urge to turn it into an online multi-player FPS - Tales of Duty.
I think the way women are portrayed in video games are at least a step up from Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan and others like them. Women, for as much as they might complain about being objectified, seem to do their best to objectify themselves.
Oh what garbage! I will not buy this game. At least there will be Witcher and Skyrim.
