It would be nice to get the physical copies of the games. I could gamestop them all and make the price probably $5.00 less.
This could be great. You could be walking out of the Inn after sipping some ale and fall over, dead from poison. They could set your house on fire while you sleep. They could hire the Dark Brotherhood. They could hide a goblin totem under your bed. So much goodness.
Hmmmm...do you even need to wonder why that image was chosen?
Is the PS3 dvd player functionality region locked? I know I had a PAL DVD of We're No Angels - old Humphrey Bogart movie - that the PS3 refused to play. It did, however, play just fine in the 360?
5 years ago I would have bet on a ffxxvii. After the past few games, however, I wouldn't think it's such a sure thing.
They lost me when the decided not to release the RPGs in U.S. The last game I played on the Wii was Okami and it doesn't look there will be another. It's stupid. I still play my psOne and PS2. What's going on with Nintendo?
I guess it could also be Sony's attempt at backward compatibility for the Vita. What you gonna do with all those UMDs? You can buy a new PsP to play them on for cheaps without wi-fi. That Sony! They always looking out for their fans!
That is actually a big concern for me. I will get a Vita the day it becomes available, but I have lots of UMD games and I hate to think I'll have to keep a psp or two around to play them.
This seems like the perfect follow on to the PSP Go. I can just hear the Sony creative minds -- hmmm... the PSP Go failed because it didn't have UMD and was all online - let's make one with only UMD and no online. It will certainly win!!!
Or maybe it's just that the only games on the 360 that aren't on the other systems are unappealing. I don't like online multiplayer shooters or shooters in general. I don't particularly like Microsoft exclusives. My 360 broke about 8 months ago and I haven't bothered to replace it.
Hmmmm ... I thought my son was bad because when I tell him to stop playing he just ignores me or tells me that he already did. I should appreciate what I have I guess.
oh - my bad. I still wants me RPGs though.
There are plenty of good prospective ingredients for Solient Green running around the planet.
Thin - really thin - does Nintendo want to sell the 3DS? I wants me RPGs.
I don't understand how Nintendo can localize hundreds of wii-crap games for the US but not give us these. They are asking for dismal hardware sales in the future. At least I hope the non-localization of the RPGs keeps everyone in the US from buying Nintendo hardware in the future.
You mean the next DQ that will be an online multi-player fps?
No. No. No. Xenoblade is getting great reviews now that it has been released in UK. No Xenoblade - no Wii U purchase. Just can't trust the company to provide games worth playing other than one or two ever few years.
Unless those games get localized I will not buy a Wii U. Already have a 3DS so I can't not buy it in protest or I would not buy it.
Just as we need to remember politicians behavior when election day rolls around, we need to remember the games Nintendo did not give us when it's time to vote on the Wii U.
The biggest problem is the lack of games for the 3DS and probably, for some, the knowledge that playing DS games on the 3DS doesn't give you the sharpest images. It makes it so you really need to have both.
For my old eyes I loves the XL size screen. When the 3DS comes out with that, I'll get a couple of them.
There is at least a chance I will manage to creep my way through Skyrim and have fun doing it. I'll watch my son play Dark Souls but if I played that game my entire experience would be the part of the game before the first boss - maybe even earlier than that.
