Seems to me that games that can be engaging and entertaining for a long journey of character growth and story telling should be as long as they need to be. On the other hand games which are short of story and character growth but focus on fun gameplay should be just as short as they need to be. What a silly man.
never click on something like that
I did exactly the same thing. I will buy it when it is released on Steam but right now I'm thankful for game pass.If it would help Parvati I'd buy it 100 time over..
I would love to see a SwitchDS. No dock but a smaller handheld/portable plays switch games.
Here's an even better idea - We would save more lives by banning alcohol.
Alcohol-Related Deaths:
An estimated 88,0008 people (approximately 62,000 men and 26,000 women8) die from alcohol-related causes annually, making alcohol the third leading preventable cause of death in the United States. The first is tobacco, and the second is poor diet and physical inactivity.9
In 2014, alcohol-impaired driving fatalities accounted for 9,967 deaths (31 percent of overal...
It shouldn't be anymore of a crime than say providing someone with the means to print counterfeit money. Just a hack.
I would guess a major reason for adding MP to single player games is to delay the time to trade in. The longer that period is the longer the time until people start buying used copies.
If the only thing next gen brings to the table is just better graphics than the current gen there really isn't any need to bring it out. I'd like to see next gen be better AI, a deeper character interaction, anything but shinier graphics.
But Oblivion had phenomenal AI and that is far more interesting than shinier graphics. Continued graphical improvements are evolutionary and do nothing to push games forward in any way other than how they look. If they could improve the AI as much as graphics have been improved we would have revolutionary gameplay. I'd love a game where NPCs actually lived out their lives instead of parroting the same few phrases every time you pass them. I'd like to see difficulty levels based on...
Once upon a time I would have had hope and been excited to hear this.
While I agree that this is pure idiocy, they did remove all cigarette advertising from most everywhere and people in movies or on TV can't be seen with a cigarette because it makes it socially acceptable and will cause young people to smoke.
@Aenea If they were just having fun 'tinkering' and 'jailbreaking' because they are 'hobbyists' who love to do impossible things that wouldn't be a problem. If they kept the stuff to themselves I could agree with your statement.but when it gets pushed to the public that statement no longer holds.
Except that the move to multiplayer online games will make the old single player games quite desirable far into the future. I still play the oldest Dragon Quest and FF games and will someday pull out my PS2 for Suikiden and Shadow Hearts replays.
At this point I would need a knife and sandpaper to get the dusty crud off my vita. Haven't seen a must play on that for long long time.
Yeah, when the wii took off it gave birth to MS kinect and Sony whatever it was. I don't want to see cardboard cutout copies from those two.
Unless I miscounted if you only have one system you have the following numbers of game choices
Vita - 1
3DS - 2
Xbox One - 6
Switch - 8
PC - 11
PS4 - 12
I'm kind of surprised that PC has so many.
You would think the man never heard of ramen or sushi or toyota or jet li or Godzilla
It's the difference between a company that needs to make a profit by providing the best possible service and a corporation that wants to make as much money as possible to support a bloated corporate structure and investors while providing as little as possible in return.
Nintendo isn't as stupid as SqEnix..
There are still people like me waiting for the steam release. I played it on gamepass for windows pc but I'll buy it when steam has it.
