I liked my 360 better than my PS3, but when it died last year I decided to wait for a game that I wanted but couldn't get on my PS3, Wii or PC. I'm still waiting. I'd like to play Lost Odyssey again but I'm not going to get a new 360 just for that.
The article seemed to say that they don't have any new exclusives because it's just too hard to do. Capitalism doesn't work that way. Risk/reward doesn't work without the risk and hard work.
If you read the article the wide range in % comes from dropping dark/demon souls and ffxiii out of the counts. Maybe read before comment lol.
If enough US & European people start canceling pre-orders because it seems as though a price cut is coming it will help force a price cut. I was burned by the 3DS price cut and don't want to do that again. Seriously considering canceling on Amazon. The lower the launch sales the more likely a lower price or inclusion of the memory card.

Additionally FFXIII was not the first Final Fantasy to go on the 360 - that would be XI.
When I encounter logic like this I am reminded of the failure of our educational system.

Sometimes I feel so Japanese. No good RPGs means no good reason to buy a system. None of the games scheduled for release have any appeal for me so if I wasn't a hardware junkie I would probably cancel my pre-order. I guess I'll just look at the Vita while waiting for Disgaea 3 to be released.
Sounds like a political conservative longing for the days before the safety of government scripted lives. The hand holding in MMOs is similar to the "equal outcomes" desired by the left hand side of the political spectrum.
I'm a fan and I wanted to control each character in battle as in the old days. I was not enamored with the world of XIII - didn't like story or characters of whatever the crystals had to do with anything this time. I don't think they listened to me.

I don't think there is a way to have tension/horror/creepiness in a multiplayer game. And I really hope the emphasis is on the horror and not so much on action. There is no mood that can last through waves of bad guys or prevail if you are constantly performing some action.

But you will download it anyway. It seems to me that when I buy a physical copy to avoid the download the first thing that happens after installing it is a massive download to fix all the things they found wrong since creating the disk. So after re-installing the game from your original disk you will still need to download everything again.
I bought Skyrim in a box for my PC. Teen son went straight to Steam (my credit card of course). I think it's probably a generational thing.

I'm not sure why anyone wants better graphics than what is currently available. In a recent article from Square Enix the pretty much said they couldn't remake FFVII because the cost (in time and $$)of doing the graphics would prohibit them from doing it. The article led me to believe that game content today is less than what it was because of the cost of the eye candy. If you want next gen consoles to have even shinier pretties don't whine about games costing more than $100.
Why is it only being sold at GameStop or NOA web store?
Why have a survival horror game when you can have another action shooter? Soon all games will be the same because one kind of game will sell the most and everything will be a copy of that.
