I almost missed out. I assumed - mostly from the Nintendo negatives I find on this site - that pre-ordering wasn't going to be an issue since nobody really cared about it anyway. I ended up ordering the standard unit because all the deluxe ones were gone. Another few hours and I would have missed that too.
I hope Nintendo flexes it's riches and buys up more multi-platform games and turns them into exclusives. With Sony financials looking a little weak maybe we can expect God of War to make the move. ^^
I never played the game and would never have considered buying the sequel because I don't like those kinds of games. But I may just buy it because of the outrage shown here and around the net. Won't play it but will support Nintendo with a purchase. If Ninty put up the $ to get the game developed then they can decide how exclusive it is.
Just because something is natural doesn't make it fit subject matter for a game. Taking a dump is one of the most natural things there is but I don't want a game built around that dynamic.
I wouldn't pirate it, but if I was going to buy it I would make sure to get a used copy.
Wow, I wasn't going to get this game because it seemed to move very far away from the excellent original entry. If they actually cancel the multiplayer content I might just pre-order it to show my support for making a single player game.

I would never participate in a class action lawsuit since it inevitably turns out that while the lawyers get millions the individuals get a coupon for $1 their next purchase. They need to implement "loser pays" in this country.

Now that game companies all want COD like sales they try to please everyone. Fans of RPGs have had most of the RPG elements (Tactics and Stats) removed so the game would appeal to more people. Fans of Survival Horror have seen their genre turn more and more into action shooters. The game companies used to try to please smaller segments of the gaming population and succeeded. Now they try to please everyone and end up pleasing no one.

They should have a sale on small fans that can be used to blow the dust off of my Vita. This could make up for the lack of worthwhile games for it.
I thought it was a video game, not a social experiment. If the market doesn't like it then the market won't buy it. Too much political correctness going around. Boarderlands the first was the only FPS that I really loved. I'll vote by buying two copies, one for me and one for my son.
